Dear teachers and children, Hello everyone! The theme of my speech today is "The wisdom of the youth is the wisdom of the country". Children, although we are young, we can also be very smart and intelligent. Wisdom is like magic. It can help us understand many things and make our country more powerful. Did everyone know? In ancient times, there were many smart children. Just like Cao Chong, he was especially smart when he was young. Once, Sun Quan sent a particularly large elephant. Cao Cao wanted to know how heavy the elephant was, but the elephant was too big, and no one knew how to weigh it. At this time, Cao Chong came up with a good idea. He said to put the elephant on the big boat, mark the place where the water reached, and then let the boat load other things. By weighing these things, he could know the weight of the elephant. Cao Chong could think of this method because he was very intelligent. He would use a very clever method to solve difficult problems. There was also Kong Rong, who could recite many poems when he was four years old. He even knew etiquette. Once, his father's friend brought pears for his brothers to eat. His father asked Kong Rong to divide the pears. Kong Rong picked the smallest pear. He said that he was young and should eat the small ones. The big pears should be given to his brothers. His father asked his brother what to do if he was younger than him. Kong Rong said that his brother was younger than him, so he had to give in to his brother. Isn't Kong Rong very polite and smart? Sima Guang was playing with his friends in the backyard when he was young. One of his friends accidentally fell into a water tank. The water tank was very deep, and his friend was in danger. The other children were scared silly. Some cried, and some went to look for adults. Sima Guang was very calm. He picked up a big stone and threw it at the water tank. The water gushed out and his little friend was saved. Sima Guang was so young, but he had reverse thinking. He could think of a different way to save people. In our current lives, there are also many things that are full of wisdom. For example, our country is building a high-speed railway, just like the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway. There were many stations along the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway, and each station had its own story. These high-speed trains make our transportation especially convenient and can connect various places. This was also the result of the adults 'wisdom. We children are now in kindergarten. Every day, we learn to sing, dance, and draw. We also know a lot of words and can do arithmetic. This is all increasing our wisdom. We have to be like those intelligent ancients, thinking more and learning more. Because we are the little flowers of our motherland. If we are smart, our country will become smarter and more powerful. So, children, let's work hard together to become more intelligent! Thank you, everyone! Read more exciting novels for free
