One Piece animation officially announced that it would stop broadcasting from October 2024 to April 2025. During the hiatus, a specially edited version of the Fishmen Island chapter would be released. The lighting and painting content would be redone, and the original 50-plus episodes would be compressed to 20-plus episodes. The reasons for the official announcement of the suspension were complicated. On the one hand, the epidemic had a serious impact on the work progress of the animation production team, so they stopped the broadcast to ensure the quality of the work to carefully polish the follow-up content; on the other hand, the animation industry was fiercely competitive, and the production team needed to adjust their strategy, optimized the production process, and explore and innovation through the suspension to maintain their leading position. In addition, One Piece had long been criticized for not having a good plot and for having problems with the pace of updates. In order to maintain weekly updates, they had invested a lot in important plots and made ordinary plots simple, resulting in a decline in their reputation. Stopping the broadcast would allow the production team to have more time to polish the animation and prevent the quality from dropping. The audience also looked forward to the quality improvement after the replay. During the off-air period, the 25th anniversary work "One Piece Fan Letter" would be broadcast on October 20th. The Egg Head Island chapter (Brahma Island film) would be suspended from October 27th. On September 27th, 2024, an upgraded animation of the original film would be broadcast or would be broadcast soon. The animation series would be shortened to 21 episodes, with original art correction and new photography processing. The lines of the characters would be more delicate and the light perception would be improved. There will be some changes to the replay of the Egg Head Island chapter. More details will be announced at the JUMP Festa event in December 2025. In April 2024, One Piece had stopped broadcasting for three weeks. The vacation period was from April 1 to April 22, 2024. As of September 13, 2024, there was no mention of the current stop.

In the relevant plot of Journey to the West, the comparison between Sun Wukong and Dapeng was more complicated. First of all, many people thought that the Great Roc was the weakest of the three demons of Lion Camel Ridge. This was a misunderstanding because the three demons were ranked according to the time they entered the mountain and not their strength. Sun Wukong's reaction after listening to Little Drill Gremlin's introduction of the Three Devils of Shituo Ridge could reflect this. He laughed secretly when he heard about the Green Lion Spirit's deeds and was even more disdainful of the Elephant Spirit. However, when he heard about the Golden-Winged Roc's ability and magic weapon, he was secretly shocked. This meant that the Roc had aroused Sun Wukong's vigilance before the fight. Secondly, in the battle between the two of them, the Great Roc had indeed ambushed Sun Wukong, but this did not determine the level of strength. When Sun Wukong escorted Tang Sanzang into the capital city of Shi Tuo Kingdom, the Great Roc suddenly threw the Heavenly Halberd at Sun Wukong's back. Sun Wukong was able to react immediately. It was obvious that the Great Roc could not defeat Sun Wukong with a sneak attack. The first time Dapeng captured Sun Wukong alive was at Shituo Ridge. At that time, he saw through Sun Wukong's little drilling wind and threw it into the bottle. However, from the plot, Sun Wukong seemed to be the one who failed in the "sneak attack"(sneaking in as little drilling wind). In general, the strength of the Great Roc could not be underestimated. It had its own unique abilities and methods in its confrontation with Sun Wukong. However, Sun Wukong also had the strength and wit to deal with the Great Roc. It was difficult to judge the strength of the two.

Among the internet celebrity community, there were some female internet celebrities who were very confident even though their appearances did not conform to the traditional sense of beauty. For example, Yanzi from Ganzhou had uncoordinated facial features and buck teeth, but she showed herself confidently in front of the camera. Her confident expression, funny language and actions became the focus of the public. She didn't care about others 'criticism of her appearance and turned her "ugly appearance" into a feature. In the process of becoming famous, she persisted even when she was ridiculed by many people. From being despised by others, she developed into an internet celebrity with an annual income of millions. There were also similar situations in the early years of Sister toot and Internet celebrity Sister Feng.
