Eons ago, in a time very distant from memory, there was an age of great fighters known as the Jo-lan. Each Jo-lan fighter was gifted with a unique elemental ability and used their abilities to protect their villages. During the time of the Jo-lan, there was peace and rapid development. That was...until the rise of an evil warlord called Innovain. Innovain was the greatest Jo-lan warrior there ever was. His power was unmatched even by the masters of the Jo-lan martial arts. This was mainly because he had the power to transform into a double-headed black dragon known by all as Souryu. Due to this people started referring to him as Kuroi Ryuu. Unfortunately, even his evil outmatched his power. Innovain fought against the other Jo-lan fighters and brought them to the brink of extinction. The whole world lived in fear of him. However, there were a few brave warriors who challenged Innovain in the hopes of creating a bright future for the next generation. A young boy called Josec Fenix renounces the art of fighting after witnessing the murder of his father. Years later, circumstances force him to take up the art of fighting and redeem the image of all fallen Jo-lan Warriors.
