It all began with the opening of the first vortex in India, which quickly became known as the Gate. Before long, more Gates emerged, appearing randomly in every corner of the globe. While the initial presence of these Gates might not have seemed alarming, tragedy struck as people living nearby began to lose their lives—suddenly collapsing, as if their strings had been cut. Yet, some managed to survive the proximity to the Gates. The reasons behind this phenomenon remained shrouded in mystery. Rumors swirled around the Gates themselves, claiming that those who stepped through would be transported to a new world filled with magic and monsters. Not only that, but they could level up there, just like characters in a video game! What remained unknown was that the deceased found themselves confronting the Gods and Goddesses of the world beyond the Gates, known as Hamurva. They were granted an explanation for their untimely deaths and the events surrounding the emergence of the Gates. It became clear that Earth had inexplicably begun to mimic Hamurva's World Frequency, resulting in a rare phenomenon recognized among Divine beings as Double Bubble. However— That’s not the core of this narrative. This is not just a tale of how Earth's inhabitants reacted and adapted to the upheaval in their world. Instead, it focuses on a cybersecurity specialist whose life ended prematurely after exposure to the Mana spilling from the Gate near his hometown. Disillusioned with human society and its systems, this man accepted an offer from the Goddess, Vali, to have a second life and become a Puddle, unexpectedly leaving many Gods and Goddesses of Hamurva in awe.
