Noise
When reality is being overwritten by an unyielding digital code, the only salvation is rusty, analogue iron.
In the frozen lake country of Minnesota, the Global Architect is systematically erasing the old world. Towns vanish into empty gray polygons, human memories are replaced by system logs, and anything deemed "inefficient" is ruthlessly decompiled.
Troy is a young trackman with a strange, metallic eye that reacts to the glitching environment. Together with Casey, a gritty rail engineer who only trusts heavy mechanics, they discover that their old diesel speeder and a handful of copper wire are completely invisible to the Architect's scanning systems.
They are the "Noise"—the rogue data, the critical analogue error in a perfect digital matrix.
When the system tightens the tracks to the absolute limit, the crew must head out for their final patrol. Armed with nothing but a heavy wrench and raw human will, they are going to ground every single silicon monster in the sector.
