For science and engineering students, college Chinese had its own special meaning and situation. From the perspective of teaching materials, there was a "University Chinese (Science and Engineering Version)" teaching material specially for science and engineering students. It aimed to cultivate the practical language ability of science and engineering students, including the cultivation of modern Chinese, Chinese characters, practical style-writing, literary reading and appreciation. According to the use of college Chinese teaching materials, the investigation and analysis of the comprehensive quality of college students, and the reality of the reform of higher education, on the basis of paying attention to Chinese accomplishment, it will appropriately increase the knowledge of language, the proportion of classic works, and the knowledge of practical writing style. It will be divided into three major areas of knowledge. After each chapter and each selected article, there will be hints, thinking, and training. Each compilation will have a reading reference list, reflecting the humanity, aesthetics, tools, and new classic principles. It was suitable as a general teaching material for Chinese courses in science and engineering universities. There was also the "College Chinese (Science and Engineering Version 2)"/"Twelfth Five-Year Plan" innovative planning teaching material for general higher education published by Beijing Institute of Technology Press. However, in actual university education, there were some problems with the college Chinese course for science and engineering students. Modern science and engineering students usually only had one semester of College Chinese in their four-year university. Moreover, this course was mostly an inspection course, which led to few students paying attention to it. At the end of the course, the assessment method was to submit a thesis. However, many students chose to download or plagiarize from the Internet. They lacked practical writing skills and had difficulties in writing papers and practical articles (such as applications, recommendation letters, small investigation reports, etc.). Even common Chinese characters and words had problems. In terms of examinations, from 2026 onwards, College Chinese would be changed to Advanced Mathematics. Before that, College Chinese was one of the public courses for science majors. Read more exciting novels for free

The railway bureau was recruiting civil engineering students. Judging from the professional requirements, civil engineering was one of the main professions recruited by the railway bureau. As for the requirements for a college degree, some railway stations would announce the development of the posts starting from college and undergraduate. There were more people recruiting for college positions, and the registration time might be about three months. In terms of job positions, after entering the railway bureau, junior college students in civil engineering might be assigned to departments such as the Works Department. The Works Department was mainly responsible for the maintenance and maintenance of the line, but it was relatively difficult. It required inspection and maintenance, and the work schedule might be irregular. From the perspective of employment competition, the number of people applying for jobs in the railway bureau had increased in recent years. The number of people who chose grassroots jobs in railway development and engineering majors had also gradually become younger. However, for junior college students who met the political examination and physical fitness examination and met the professional requirements, there were cases where the written examination was cancelled and only interviews were set up, which increased the chances of junior college students going ashore. Read more exciting novels for free

Many science and engineering students had the idea or behavior of changing careers. Some science and engineering students yearned to change careers in economics, finance, consulting, management, and other fields. Some science and engineering students who were mature chose a master's degree or directly changed careers when they were looking for a job. In terms of employment matching rate, civil engineering majors had a wide range of employment, but there might also be cases of changing careers. As for architecture majors, due to the high cost of university and the large number of students taking the postgraduate entrance examination, it was not ruled out that some students changed careers. In addition, there were a few Tiankeng Science and Engineering majors with poor employment conditions, which would also encourage students from these majors to consider changing careers to patent agents. At the same time, the withdrawal of some science and engineering majors could also reflect the possibility of career changes. For example, the withdrawal of liberal arts majors such as English, communication, archaeology, etc. could also be understood as the concentration of some science and engineering resources to the advantageous science and engineering majors, which may involve the transfer of relevant science and engineering students. However, computer science, automaton, and other science and engineering majors with a wide range of employment options and easier career changes might have fewer students changing careers. In short, there were cases of science and engineering majors changing careers, and there were quite a number of them, but the exact number was difficult to calculate. Read more exciting novels for free
