In some story settings, there was a phenomenon where a warrior killed an evil dragon and became an evil dragon. For example, in stories related to social phenomena, some internet celebrities were initially seen as warriors because they had gained public support from the perspective of working people, but later they were discovered to have exploited their employees, which was like turning into an evil dragon. There were similar situations in historical events, such as Xu Jie of the Ming Dynasty. Before he overthrew Yan Song and his son, he had endured humiliation. When Yan Song monopolized power, he changed his style of life, endured everything, and even adopted some disgraceful methods. Later, when he was the chief minister of the cabinet, there were also some problems. To a certain extent, it was like turning from a warrior into an evil dragon. There was also the Huaixi Xungui Group of the Ming Dynasty that took over the imperial power. At first, they might be seen as warriors who resisted the old forces, but later they did some inappropriate things and became evil dragons. For example, in the Nanbei List case, they used the method of pointing a deer as a horse to test Zhu Yuanzhang. This phenomenon reflected that power, interests, environment, and other factors might cause a person to change fundamentally after obtaining a certain victory or changing his status. In history and stories, there were similar situations where a warrior defeated an evil dragon and became an evil dragon himself. For example, Chen Tang was a famous general during the reign of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. He went deep into the hinterland of Central Asia and defeated the Xiongnu Zhizhi Chanyu, bringing the might of the Han Dynasty to the Western Regions. However, he was later framed and demoted to become a soldier. Later, he was re-employed because of his ability and was deeply valued by the Wang family. However, the temptation of power and wealth made him corrupt and eventually ruined his reputation. It was the same for Wang Mang. He was born into the royal family but was not favored. He started his political career under the recommendation of others. In the early days, he was modest and thrifty, but after he ascended the throne, he revealed his tyrannical side and was recognized as a hypocrite. At first, they all had a certain amount of achievements or a good appearance, like warriors. However, after obtaining power, their shortcomings were exposed and they went down the path of depravity, just like becoming evil dragons. In some fairy tales or fictional stories, there might be a reflection of this plot pattern. A warrior defeating an evil dragon was a common plot setting, and when a warrior was corrupted by power, desire, and so on, he might become a negative character like an evil dragon.
