Slara, adalah nama seorang anak perempuan yang sejak bayi di besarkan oleh sepasang suami istri, dimana ayah angkatnya adalah seorang wiraswasta dan ibu angkatnya adalah seorang ibu rumah tangga biasa. Awalnya mereka tinggal di tengah kota Jakarta, tepatnya di daerah Gambir atau wilayah Taman Ria, sebelum banyak berpindah, dan akhirnya menetap di kota Bekasi. Ia ditemukan pasca gempa besar yang melanda kota Yogyakarta. Kebetulan saat itu, Joyo yg kini menjadi ayah angkatnya sedang menjadi relawan, dan mendengar suara tangis bayi di sudut ruangan, dibawah ranjang besi di dalam puskesmas. Setelah melewati waktu berhari-hari guna mencari orang tuanya, akhirnya informasi pun datang, Slara kehilangan orang tuanya. Orang tuanya meninggal tertimpa reruntuhan bangunan yang ambruk.
