NEBULAR : RISE OF THE UNCHAINED WILL In the world of Nebula, humanity is divided by a single invisible law. Free will. Only a rare percentage of people are born with it — and those who possess it can cultivate power beyond human limits. Because of this, the world is ruled by the Great Lords and their noble systems, who harvest, train, and relocate those born with free will into distant servitude. To the rest of the population, life is simple. Obey. Work. Report. Survive. Because those without free will do not rebel. They only follow what they are told. In the oppressed Hollow District 9, a boy named YOUNG grows up under the control of Lord Veyron’s system — a world where children are evaluated at a sacred ceremony and those with free will are taken away, never to return. But YOUNG is different. He was born with free will. A secret that should not exist. A flaw in the system… or something far greater. When YOUNG begins to notice the truth behind the “selection,” the world he knows slowly begins to crack. Children are not chosen — they are removed. Families do not lose them — they are erased from attachment. And the people of Nebula do not resist… because they were never meant to. As he uncovers the hidden structure of society, YOUNG realizes something terrifying: The world is not broken. It is designed. With the help of his unpredictable friend Kael, YOUNG begins to walk a dangerous path of awareness, survival, and awakening. But in Nebula, even thinking differently is a sin that the system can detect. And somewhere above them all, the Great Lords are watching. Because free will is not just rare. It is the most dangerous force in existence. In a world where obedience is peace and freedom is chaos, one boy will awaken something the system cannot classify. And Nebula will never remain the same.
