The Entrapped two book series starts with The Phantoms. Hunter investigates the people in Chloe’s life and secures her dwelling as best he could before leaving to search for his main suspect, Quinn. The eccentric Mrs Kennedy’s abandoned haunted house in the woods where a family murder took place is getting more and more disturbing with the inexplicable phenomena getting very personal and in her face. Isaac shares her experience and helps her at a time when she starts to doubt her sanity. Hunter gives them disturbing warnings and confusing messages over the phone and for some reason fails to inform them what is going on. Just when the passion between her and Isaac burns like a wildfire, they wake up captured by the devils that are behind everything. Their situation is getting more and more hopeless since it seems the devils are in full control and their ambush for Hunter is well in place. The devil holding them captured is playing mind games with Chloe while she waits in agony for Hunter to walk into the trap. Surely, Isaac and Hunter’s cruel fate seems unavoidable and she is not sure what to expect to happen to the rest of them. She can only hope that some miracle would save them all from this evil.

Escaping the law, Abby settles down in a quiet southern town under a fictitious name. Everything works out beautifully until she uncovers evidence on one of the largest crime rings in the state. Not being able to turn to the law for help, Abby's only choice is to run. Where will she go now she's uncovered the disturbing truth hidden deep within the towns facade.

So, I had a flash of insight and decided to put things to the test. "What are the things that you really find disturbing, and how can you make a story out of them?" I struggled to answer this. Many new authors (perhaps) and fanfic authors are troubled by this as well, because every time we came up with a story about disturbing things, deviant actions, or things you wouldn't find yourself imagining or doing in your real mundane life, we had to come up with a background for it. A very fantastic unsettling story, in my opinion, is something that you can't explain, something that has seemingly random moments that have no link to the story yet have a deep meaning to it. I'm not sure, I still can't answer the question. This is how the test short story came to be. Please provide me with a structural review if possible.
