Another theme is the mutual respect they develop for each other's skills. Sanji's cooking and Law's medical and strategic abilities are things they come to admire in one another. It's like in 'The Taste of Understanding' fanfic where Law first scoffs at Sanji's food but later it becomes a crucial part of their bond.

One interesting Law x Sanji fanfiction could be where they are forced to team up during a dangerous mission at sea. They start off bickering as usual, but gradually come to respect each other's skills. Law might be impressed by Sanji's cooking, which heals them during their journey, and Sanji might see Law's medical knowledge as useful in more ways than he thought.

In One Piece, there was a special bond between Sauron and Sanji. Even though they didn't get along on the surface, Sauron was actually worried about Sanji. When Sanji chose to leave, Sauron initially strongly opposed interfering with his affairs. This was based on Sauron's cautious personality and his understanding of Sanji. In his opinion, since it was Sanji's own choice, he should respect it. He believed that he would come back after settling the matter. However, when Sauron learned that Sanji was threatened by the aunties and had to leave, his previous opposition gradually changed. This showed that Sauron cared about Sanji's safety. During critical moments like the battle, the two of them fought side by side with tacit understanding. For example, when Daxiong transferred the pain that Luffy suffered in the battle, they rushed to accept each other. This behavior also reflected Sauron's friendship with Sanji. They had experienced many life-and-death battles together, and this kind of friendship was deep. Sauron's cold appearance hid his concern for Sanji.
