He kept her by his side, never letting go! "Please, can you let me go?" "Impossible," he said, "unless you're no longer my only one." After they fell in love, he declared possessively, "I want to keep you by my side, to make you belong only to me. You can only love me too, your mind, your world, must be filled with only me." Yet his domineering love sent a chill through her.

He took her freedom. She’ll take his heart. Major Melodie Jaxxon was never supposed to be here. One moment, she was searching for a cure to the virus threatening her world—the next, she was a prisoner in a strange land, a world where humans, or Canariae, are nothing more than servants, pets, or trophies. She refuses to be any of those things. Malec, the empire’s most ruthless commander, sees her defiance as a challenge. Unlike the others, she doesn’t cower—she fights, she argues, and worst of all, she makes him feel. He should break her, tame her like all the others. Instead, he finds himself wanting her in ways he doesn’t understand. Possessing her is no longer enough—he wants her to choose him. But Melodie has only one goal: escape. She will play his game, let him think he’s winning, even let him believe she might want him back. But the moment he lowers his guard, she will take everything from him. Yet as lines blur between captor and captive, between obsession and something deeper, Melodie begins to wonder… what happens when the man she hates is the only one who can truly set her free?

a singer and a doctor and fate that binds them together after suffering for a long time.they both believe it is time for payback "I am sorry " Daniel apologized sincerely . He still wasn't able to look at her . He was astonished by her accurate hypothesis. " Look me in the eye and say it " sera told him with a serious tone. He started to gather his confidence and looked at her with his grey eyes . He started messing his brown hair and said. "I was a dumbass and you can refuse to help me . I would deserve it .I will go tell them I was lying .I am sorry . I did something unacceptable after you trusted me".As soon as he finished talking he looked away from her blue eyes. Sera had a thought and said it out loud "I never thought you were handsome till today . You look like you have done something that you could kill youself for. I will help you for two reasons . First , I am going to need your help sooner or late and you know for what . Second , you are a good person you just wanted to prove your family wrong and I know that feeling . " Sera finished and her words touched and relieved Daniel's heart . Surprisingly Dennis was the one who responded " Sera , Daniel !! Why don't you try dating for real." They were both surprised by Dennis's comment .

“Wolves were everywhere. In politics, on thrones, in beds. They cut their teeth on history and grew fat on war.” ~Roshani Chokshi, The Gilded Wolves (The Gilded Wolves, #1) Often some love to read books and find quotes within the books that stick to them. Canary has always felt like she was one of those books. But what ending and what the book will tell she doesn’t know. From a loving and warmth house she was thrown into a cold and unfamiliar age. Not knowing love even by her own mother. Canary now navigates the world as a child. From joyfulness of Lyikar to the judging and coldness of Grania.  Tossed upon a world of wolves and herself being named after a bird. Canary seems to be filled with innocent. A innocent that the wolves around her seem to sense. She herself wishes to go back to Lyikar now that she is of age. But many things and obstacles come into place. All of them being of wolves especially one of love. All of her turmoil begins with a man named Agustin Abarca. The question is will it end with it. With an event named the great fire and the king being behind it. More and more problems being to come. The question for this little bird is will she be able to find herself out of this wolf den or be devoured by it. This is the story of Canary and the Wolf

The man who raised me is a Crime Lord. He isolated me from all men, keeping me like a Gilded Canary. The day I came of age was also the day I planned to escape. But I didn't get far before he caught me and brought me back. He gently caressed my cheek, his voice cold, "Jade Grayson, don't you ever think about escaping me in this lifetime."

Everyone in the entertainment industry knows I'm a slut. In the fifth year of being kept by Caden Rhodes, a Patron specifically requested that his The Untouchable One sleep with him. He is said to be a madman, and the starlets sent to him all return battered and bruised. He couldn't afford to offend him, so he made me go in her place. "Don't worry, that man only likes young virgins. You are neither, so he won't touch you." He soothed me with these words. But the next day, when he caught me and the Patron locked in a passionate kiss on set, he went insane, asking if I was done making a scene. I slowly buttoned up my torn blouse, a shy smile on my face: "My apologies. I like young, male virgins. Unlike you, he is both."

Before I graduated from university, my parents found my younger sister who had been missing for ten years due to a kidnapping. She would sweetly call me sister in front of others, but behind their backs, she thought of killing my pets, stealing my childhood sweetheart, and even thought of kicking me out of the house. She warned me with a condescending attitude: "Please, I'm holding the playbook, I'm a Strategist, you fools from this native world, what do you have to compete with me." I think I forgot to tell her, she is the seventh Strategist. The previous six, all died at my hands.

In the seventh year of being a Canary, Julian Marlowe still took pleasure in tormenting me. Everyone laughed at me for being a fool, a Mistress who only wanted love, not money, and not even my own life. Later, I left, just as everyone wished. But he searched for me like a madman and imprisoned me in his villa. The man who once only ever beat me, knelt before me, crying and begging: "Wren, I gave up everything for you, just to be with you..." I looked at the watch on my wrist, silently watching the time pass. Not counting down the end of my life, but counting down how long until the police arrive. Brother, this time, I can finally avenge you.

At the age of fifteen, my family went bankrupt and fell into massive debt. My father, unable to bear the pressure, committed suicide by jumping from a building. My mother took me into hiding, and eventually, we sought refuge with the tycoon, Marcus Lachlan. He sent my mother and me abroad, allowing me to live the same princess-like life as before. Until the day I turned eighteen, when he revealed himself to be a demon and dragged me into hell. It was only then I discovered that I had long been treated as a commodity, up for the highest bid! And the one who sold me off with their own hands was the person closest to me.
