shanks is overrated

Sorin Makarov was the undisputed best player in the revolutionary VRMMORPG Astria as well as its number 1 guild-master. He crawled through the leader boards, made friends with unsavory people, started wars and created mountains of virtual corpses to be where he is. And he is successful. He has political power, money, women, and all of the other joys of life. But he has a problem, he's unhappy. Sorin sees the world in a grey monotone that only playing Astria fixes. After giving his corporate sponsors the finger to escape the confines of the guild, his building is struck by lightning, throwing him back in time before the game launched. "Worlds number 1 player and guild? Let someone else have it. I just want to enjoy Astria my way." ... Currently I am drafting up how this novel will shape so I will constantly update older chapters. A few things though. No harem 'planned'. The whole novel will focus more on the single player part of Astria and have little to do with player and even less irl conflicts. Grammar and plot hole feedback appreciated. No update schedule yet. This is purely for my enjoyment and I thought I would share with others. Enjoy

After centuries of conquering the world, defeating heroes, and torturing poor souls (because it’s his job), the mighty Demon Lord (Kayn) has had enough. And honestly, he’s just here for some peace, quiet, and maybe a few naps. But being an innkeeper isn’t exactly as relaxing as it sounds. Kayn's inn quickly becomes a hotspot for mischief. There’s the local hero who insists on 'challenging' him (even though Kayn is clearly just trying to enjoy his coffee). Then there are the villagers who refuse to stop asking why he never smiles, and don’t get him started on the weird monster outbreaks that just keep happening around the inn. Will Kayn ever get the relaxing, hero-free life he so desperately craves? Or will he be dragged back into the chaos of his past, whether he likes it or not? One thing’s for sure: Being a Demon Lord is a lot easier than running an inn.

Don't laugh on people but laugh with people

Cries and sobs echoed all around, and he sat alone in a corner, silently weeping. Today, he had lost his only support—his mother. From childhood till now, she had been his whole world. His father had passed away before he was even born. The relatives had long turned their backs, and now only the neighbors were there, offering him condolences. But some pains are too deep for words to heal. He wasn’t just carrying his mother’s coffin on his shoulders—he was burying his entire world.

What we can see is what you cannot, what you see as fiction is what we see as reality. Yet, are we right?

I asked with a teasing smile and a silly look plastered on my face "They are beau--ti--ti--ti--ful--ful" he stammered and held the steering wheel tighter "Cats got your tongue or are you just nervous around a sexy thing like me" I said and purred, enjoying how he was getting red. He was a tough one, he refused to stare at me, he just kept his focus on the road. "Awww, am I not tempting enough to steal your attention?" I said mocking how focused he was. I caught his eyes moving from me to the road. I have gotten a reaction "So I am tempting?" I asked with a  smirk plastered on my face. I got my legs off the dashboard and moved closer to him resting on the armrest and holding my amused face  "Do you want to see a very cute tattoo?" I asked and purred in his ears, he did not answer me but I knew I was affecting him. "So you do not want to see?" I asked faking a   frown and pouting  "I do" he said in a rushed tone, someone is excited, he turned to look at me and caught my smirk "I knew you would" I said. I tugged the neck of my shirt to make it lower to reveal the tattoo I had on my chest. "You like?" I asked He nodded and turned to look at the road. "Aww you are looking all red and stuff" I teased and poked him for added effects. "I had no idea boys could be this red" I added and continued to tease him with my laughter 'I think he has had enough teasing for a day'   my subconscious reminded me. I turned to look at Sebastian, he was red and was gripping the wheels like his life depended on it. He really makes teasing easy but not fun, he is not flirting back, making me look like a whore 'You are one' my subconscious reminded me again, I gasped and smirked 'Am I?' I wanted to laugh at my own joke but I do not think Sebastian is ready for more craziness. I sort of miss Regina, sorry my room, I might be asleep right now or trapped in a book, got to keep straight A's. I looked up and realized the dirt path we were driving through looked familiar "Sebastian?" I called, he hummed to tell me he was listening "Where are we?"
