doctor who season 1 episode 1 reaction

Extrapyramidal reactions had many manifestations. The typical symptoms include tremors, muscle stiffness of the limbs, dyskinesia, salivation, slurred speech, torticollis, head tilting back, eyes gazing up or out, and facial changes. There were four common types of extraspinal reactions: 1. The symptoms of acute dystonia, such as a stiff tongue, blurred vision, inflexible eye movements, upturned eyeballs, stiff limbs, etc., may be similar to a robot's lack of changes in walking posture and facial expressions. 2. It was easy to mistake the inability to sit still for anxiety. 3. It was easy to misdiagnose it as parkinson's disease, and there might be symptoms similar to parkinson's disease such as slow movements. 4. Tardive dyskinesia was commonly seen in patients who took certain classic antipsychotics for a long time. Most of them were older, and they would have the oral-tongue-cheek triad (teeth moving non-stop), hand rubbing, and so on. It could also be manifested as twisting of the hands and feet, slow movements, difficulty swallowing, increased muscle tone, rapid and irregular movements of the limbs, dance-like movements, tilting of the neck, drooling, flustered gait, anxiety, and other symptoms. If the doctor suspected that it was an extrapyramidal reaction, he should further clarify the cause and follow the doctor's advice to regulate the treatment. The patient should ensure enough sleep in daily life, avoid excessive fatigue, eat more fresh fruits and vegetables and high-protein foods, and avoid spicy food. Read more exciting novels for free
