Long ago a great calamity struck the earth, destroying much of it and merging what remained with pieces of other worlds. With these worlds came Aether, a new form of energy that can allow one to transcend the bounds of normal mortality and human limitations. In a world where humans absorb the essence of aether beasts to gain power, Aiden Hawke joins the class of humans known as arcanists, people who defeat aether beasts and absorb their essence into cores they forge within themselves, and who infuse themselves with the aether that permeates the world around them to increase the power of their body and mind. However, unlike most, Aiden will find that he holds a unique gift and that his journey as an arcanist will not be so simple.

A Cyberpunk Magic Revolution In the year 2046, the world runs on Aether—programmable dark matter energy channeled through corporate-controlled smartdevices called Conduits. Magic is licensed, spells are subscription-based, and unauthorized glyph-coding is a crime punishable by neural scrubbing. Lucent Argyr, a debt-ridden underground fighter with a talent for stealing codes, stumbles upon a forbidden truth: the original Aether code was never meant to be caged. Hunted by corporate's private army, courted by the hacker collective GhostKey, and tormented by visions of a deeper conspiracy, Lucent must decide whether to: Sell his power to the highest bidder Burn the system to the ground Or unravel the darkest secret of all... With his modified Conduit overheating and his borrowed glyphs, Lucent’s final fight won’t be in the arena—but against the gods of the new world.

In the heart of a city shrouded in mist and mystery, Aiden awakens to a world that feels both wondrous and perilous. With no memory of who he is or how he arrived, he is drawn to a strange symbol etched into his hand that pulses with an otherworldly light. As he navigates the ethereal streets of New Eden, whispers of ancient secrets and hidden dangers surround him. When Aiden stumbles upon the Grand Athenaeum, a library that seems to hold the key to his identity, he uncovers more than just dusty tomes. A chilling encounter with a shadowy figure in a long black coat thrusts him deeper into a web of intrigue and danger. With a powerful Aetherium reactor at the city's core, the very fabric of reality is at stake, and Aiden must decipher cryptic clues while evading those who would silence him. As he delves into the library’s depths, Aiden’s connection to an ancient energy awakens something within him, leading him on a quest for answers that could alter the fate of the realm. Each page turned reveals more than just forgotten lore; it unlocks a part of his past that may hold the power to save or doom them all. Can Aiden uncover the truth behind his identity before it’s too late? Will the secrets of the Aether lead him to salvation or destruction? Join Aiden on a thrilling journey through a world of magic, machinery, and the relentless pursuit of knowledge that will leave you breathless and eager for more.

Title: THE AETHER DIRGE: RESONANCE OF RUST Synopsis: "The empire doesn't run on steam. It runs on screams." In the soot-choked city of Arcadia, Julian Vane is just another gear in the machine—a mechanic struggling to survive under the crushing weight of debt and the shadow of the Iron Sovereign. But in the deep maintenance pits of Sector 7, a single touch changes everything. When a leak of raw Aether contacts his skin, the mechanical hum of the world is replaced by a terrifying symphony. The blue mist isn't fuel; it is a graveyard of souls. The "Aether Dirge"—the collective mourning of the dead trapped within the pipes—has finally found a witness. With his fingers turning to cold crystal and the voices of the forgotten echoing in his mind, Julian is thrust into a conspiracy that spans the Nine Rings. The Church calls it Paradise. The Government calls it Progress. But Julian knows the truth: the world is a prison, and the gods are the wardens. As the resonance of the dead grows louder, Julian must decide: will he keep the secret and survive, or will he become the spark that burns the empire to the ground? The Great Migration has begun. The dead are waking up. And the Center is calling. Original work by Void_Writer. All rights reserved. Any reproduction, adaptation, or derivative use without explicit permission is prohibited.

The end of the dungeon era and the beginning of the aether era. It begins with the worlds saviour being betrayed. Aether Era, year 400, a tiny terror is reborn. Will she live to see the new era she helped to create or is it the end of her life for good? Will she be able to get revenge? What new challenges await? —- This is an idea I had for an original novel based off dungeon novels I have read before because I had been wondering what happens to the world after the hero or heroes conquer the dungeons and restore peace to the world. Fu Xiaoxiao transmigrates into a book and immediately faces the crisis of being sent to the countryside. As the unloved middle child, her younger sister is the one meant to go — but her mother transfers her job to the sister instead. A disaster of a start. To avoid being sent away, she has to marry within seven days. She meets a few ordinary men and decides she'd rather go to the countryside. Then she runs into a neighbor who's also looking for a spouse — and his conditions are surprisingly good. A dowry of three hundred? Bicycles and a radio? Just take care of the kids, and separate rooms are fine? The others may pass, but she won't. Every day is a battle of wits with the two kids. Life is eventful, she gets a salary every month, and the boss is never home. Absolutely perfect. Except... wasn't this big shot supposed to be infertile? Then why does he keep strutting around naked in front of her? She has professional ethics. She won't be seduced by a good body. Hmph. Men only slow down her sword swing. Lu Feng grits his teeth at Fu Xiaoxiao, who remains completely unmoved by his countless attempts to seduce her, and traps her in his arms. "Boss, let's talk this through. I know forty a month is a bit much — how about... five less?" Trapped in his embrace, Fu Xiaoxiao thinks he's unhappy with her high salary and starts bargaining. "I'm giving myself to you for free." Lu Feng grinds out through clenched teeth. This woman has no heart. "...Can I say no?" Fu Xiaoxiao swallows, staring at the washboard abs so close. "Such a good deal — are you sure you don't want it?" Lu Feng squints, tempting her. "Fine." A fool turns down a bargain.
