The story of the death of the ice giant in Norse mythology
In Norse mythology, the death of the Frost Giant Ymir was related to the creation of the world. Ymir was born from the dryness of Mars and the dampness of frost. When he was asleep, the first human was born from his armpits along with his sweat. At the same time, two frost giants were born from his feet. Later, Odin and his two brothers (Willy and Fey) lifted the earth from the abyss to create a place where humans lived.
And the birth of all things in the world involved the violent dismemberment of Ymir by the gods. The gods captured Ymir and killed him. They used his flesh to create the earth, his blood to form the ocean, his bones to form mountains, his hair to form plants, his skull to form the sky, his eyelashes to create Midgard for the descendants of mankind, and his brain to create gloomy clouds, thus creating all things in the human world.
