Ashton Mendel and The Trojan Horse (Percy Jackson Fanfic)
"Most parent have kids that annoy the shit out of them. Mine decided to give himself a new dad."
Look, I never liked Percy Jackson. I never read the books. I didn’t care. I only knew the stories through blurbs, fanart, and that one overzealous fangirl who made everything sound so epic. Percy Jackson had done more by my age than I ever would. Me? I’d accomplished almost nothing—except protecting my son.
My son, Sonny, wanted to be a half-blood. Now he is. And some two-faced, flying messenger bastard is coming for him. Olympus? Prophecies? Saving the world? Not my problem. This is about my kid.
I’m supposed to navigate monsters, gods, and teenage demi-gods who could destroy me, all while keeping Sonny safe from a world he doesn’t even understand the consequences of. I don’t want power. I don’t want fame. I just want to grab my son, leave, and pray we don’t break the world on the way out.
