The movie would also show the connection between Venom and the timeline of the MCUs universe. The audience could see Venom and other superheroes interact to deal with the crisis together, and many familiar characters returned, such as the fan favorite guest character Mrs. Chen. Venom would also show its powerful parasitic ability. Behind the big villain in the movie was the god of symbiosis, Nal, whose weapon had appeared in Thor 4.
