macross missile massacre

The quality of the Macross manga is quite good. The art is detailed and the story is engaging.

The situation after being hit by a missile depended on a number of factors, including the type of missile, the location of the attack, and the degree of damage. We can draw some conclusions. In modern warfare, once a plane or ship was hit by a missile, it was very likely that it would immediately disintegrate or sink, and the chances of survival were small. Pilots or crew members should immediately determine the degree of damage after being hit and take escape measures as soon as possible. After being hit in wartime, pilots or crew members faced difficult challenges and needed to react quickly to increase their chances of survival. However, the specific escape situation might vary according to different situations, so it was impossible to draw a general conclusion.

The planes hit by the missiles referred to Flight MH17 and Flight 902. Flight MH17 was hit by a missile near the Russian border in Ukraine, killing all 298 people on board. Meanwhile, Soviet Flight 902 was hit by a missile over the Black Sea, killing 78 people. The other search results did not provide any information about the plane that was hit by the missile.

The weight of different types of missiles varied greatly. The smallest missile was the American Spike missile, which weighed a little more than two kilograms and was about the size of a French baton. Large intercontinental missiles could weigh more than 100 tons. China's Dongfeng-41 intercontinental missile weighed more than 60 tons. In general, the weight of missiles ranged from a few kilograms to hundreds of tons.

You may be referring to the Shadow of the Storm missile. In the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, on November 20, 2024, Ukraine used the "Shadow of the Storm" cruise missile provided by the United Kingdom to attack targets in Russia for the first time. Previously, although the United Kingdom allowed Ukraine to use military equipment such as tanks, it had always restricted the use of long-range missiles. At that time, the ban on the use of the Shadow of the Storm missile on Russian territory was likely to have been lifted, but the British and Ukrainian military had not yet confirmed the use of the missile. Watching " Son of Light " wasn't enough. Everyone, please click to read the novel!

The Type 1240 guided missile ship (Hurricane M ṣ K- 5) was a milestone in the development of small guided missile ships in the Soviet Union. The water foil under the boat was made of titanium alloy. The main power was two 180,000 horsepower gas turbine engines. The maximum speed was 60 knots, and the combat radius was 1200 kilometers at a cruising speed of 45 knots. The Soviet Navy had high hopes for the Type 1240 and set a wide range of mission objectives. Every time it was improved, its capabilities were expanded. The ship should have high maneuverability and high speed that could be achieved at that time. It would also be equipped with new anti-ship missiles to have powerful firepower. In 1972, the first and only small missile ship of this type was built at the Leningradsky Shipyard. In addition to being equipped with modern anti-ship missiles, the M ṣ K- 5 had two notable features: one was the water foil, and the other was the power system. Its power system was equipped with two gas turbine engines with a total power of 36,000 horsepower, which transmitted the moment to the propeller through the bearings to achieve a maximum speed of 57 - 60 knots (105 - 111 km/h). There was also a low-power system with a total power of only 2200 horsepower, including two diesel engines that drove two sets of water jet systems for the ship to travel in the conventional way (when not using the water foil). The 320-ton displacement of the ship was considered large among the missile boats and hovercrafts of the time, and the hull was made of magnesium-aluminum alloy. However, although it was powerful, it could not enter the mass production stage for various reasons. The novel "Mars of Paradise" is equally exciting. Everyone is welcome to read it!

Anti-tank missiles could be carried by infantry, vehicles, and helicopters. According to the launch platform, it can be divided into portable, vehicle, helicopter, and fixed-wing aircraft. For example, the United States 'AGM - 114 Hellfire anti-tank missile could be launched from an aircraft; China's Red Arrow- 73 anti-tank missile could be mounted on a tank or armored transport vehicle; Red Arrow- 10 was a heavy-duty vehicle anti-tank missile.
