In the world of Eteria, mysterious rifts release monsters into cities. Hirata Ren is a poor boy with no talent or future, but during a deadly attack, he awakens a power called a Spark. After meeting swordsman Takeru Shin, Ren joins a dangerous conflict involving monsters and secret organizations. As he grows stronger, he discovers the truth about the rifts, the Sparks, and his connection to the destruction of reality.

Solomon’s life is simple. Find food. Avoid dying. Sneak onto ships. Repeat. A homeless orphan forced to flee his homeland after a brutal war, he has no relatives and even less money. His greatest talents are surviving (Barely), staying unnoticed (Easy when he’s anorexic), and finding salvageable meals out of dumpsters. So naturally, fate decides to throw him a bone. After a bizarre encounter drops him into the orbit of a prominent noble family, Solomon finds himself dragged into a world of power, danger, and people with entirely too many opinions about etiquette and honor. Suddenly, he has an earned brother who knows far too much for the average child, and a barrack full of obnoxious ten year olds. As they grow older, Solomon learns that his brother has many more secrets than he could have anticipated. Like the fact he used to be an immortal engine of destruction, and now, Solomon has to take up his mantle and protect the realm from five other undying beings. All while on the run from one of the most powerful swordsmen who’s ever lived. The fabled potion of Rage is protected by elves in order to prevent the destruction of the world as it is known. After safeguarding the potion for 1300 years, a single human from another world fell from un-survivable heights and manages to land in the building in which it is held. Lake, a human of all things, has come into contact with this potion and brought dread to the denizens of this world known as Eyse.
