Ratatouille
Ratatouille (also known as Food Story) was an animated comedy film released in 2007. It was directed by the American director, Brad Bird, and was based on the original stories of Jane Pikva, Jim Capobianco, and Brad Bird. Patton Oswalt, Ian Holm, Lou Romano, Brian Danelli, and others voiced the main characters in the film.
The film was about a mouse named Xiaomi who dreamed of becoming a great French chef, but his family did not agree and the kitchen did not welcome mice. Amy accidentally came to the sewer of the famous restaurant of the "God of Cooking" Augustine Gust, who she had admired for a long time. She met Xiao Kuan, a restaurant apprentice with ordinary qualifications. Amy helped Xiao Kuan become a new "genius chef" and made a huge change in the food world of Paris.
The film was produced by the Walt-disney Film Company and produced by Pixar Animation Studios. It was released in the United States on June 29, 2007 and in mainland China on October 19, 2007. As of December 13, 2007, the film's global box office gross was $623,726,085. It won the 80th Academy Awards for Best animated feature film and was named one of the 100 greatest films of the 21st century by the BBC.
