Diaries of Boreas
Mael Aude isn't sure what happened that afternoon in 2030. People around him tell him that the world "ended".
70% of humanity died the day the world seemed to break, when the skies turned pitch black, and the earth seemed to want to break. One hundred years later, the incident is named "the Cataclysm".
One hundred years later, Mael wakes up from what felt like a long and deep sleep, with no memories of what happened one hundred years ago. The world as he knew it disappeared after such an event, in which he was severely injured and induced into unconsciousness.
He is one of the seven Warriors, one of the seven chosen ones, humans who were on the verge of death during the cataclysm and were gifted the powers of the spirits to defeat the demons tormenting humanity, guaranteeing them a second chance to live. Mael himself is gifted the power of what once was the god of Winter. Yet, he can't understand that decision. He wasn't someone particularly noble, nor particularly smart, nor particularly brave, but he has no one to ask why he was chosen. He doesn't understand how he didn't die that day.
He will soon begin his journey to find the rest of the seven Warriors, while he recovers his memories, discovers himself, and fights for answers and for his life. The Warriors, who are like him, who are people who should have died a hundred years ago, but were gifted a second chance.
