Li Sao had multiple meanings: - From a literary point of view, it was Qu Yuan's representative work. It was the first lyric poem in China that recounted his life, and also the first romantic lyric poem. The whole poem had 372 sentences and 2,490 words. It was written in the period when Qu Yuan was alienated by King Huai of Chu. In his sorrow and anger, Qu Yuan used poems to persuade King Huai. The titles had many explanations, such as "Leaving Worry","Encountering Worry","Parting Worry","Complaining", and the name of the song of Chu State. The first half of the text recounted his lineage and birthday, expressing that he had the noble quality of assisting the king to carry out good politics. At the same time, he denounced the greed and slander of the party members and lamented the fatuous King Huai. The second half of the story was a journey of fantasy, and finally returned to reality from the fantasy, shaping the image of a loyal, noble, unyielding, and talented lyric protagonist. Among them, the thought of "sighing to cover up the tears, lamenting the difficulties of the people" and the persistent spirit of "Lu Man Man is far away, I will seek up and down" became the spiritual model of future generations of benevolent people. It contained emotions, plants, men and women. The language was beautiful and gentle, and the images were colorful. It created the era of Chu Ci and had a profound influence on the creation of poetry and Fu in later generations. It also derived many annotations, exegesis, research works, as well as songs, paintings, calligraphy works, etc. - In terms of music, there was a song written by Jin Wenqi and performed by Yi Shou Qian Xi. It was the ending song of the TV series "Missing Beauty". It was released on April 21st, 2017 and won the Top Ten Golden Songs Award of the Asian New Song Chart Annual Ceremony and the Top Ten Golden Songs Award of the Chinese Language by Billboard Radio China. There was also a song called "Li Sao" performed by Yang Di. The novel "Song of Everlasting Sorrow: Morning and Evening" is equally exciting. Everyone is welcome to click and read it!

He believed that the meaning of human existence was not to pursue material success and enjoyment, but to pursue spiritual satisfaction and freedom. In the poem, Qu Yuan expressed his pursuit of freedom and equality and called on people to pursue truth and morality instead of just money and power.
