So Hakuryuu’s father gives him an heirloom that is a pocket watch, for his birthday. Then he gives his son a choice. Hakuryuu can either go on a journey to figure out what is happening to their citizens or he must engage in an arranged marriage. Hakuryuu who believes that no one can love him chooses to venture on and uncover the mystery behind the supposed disappearances, but he decides to do so under a different name...
