Plot 1. ** Lacking logic and depth ** - The overall plot of the movie was loose, as if it was fighting for the sake of fighting, without a coherent logical context. For example, some viewers commented that there was no logic to speak of. They did not build a fascinating and meaningful story framework, which could not bring deep thinking and emotional resonance to the audience. - Although there was a story line, such as Venom and Eddie being captured by the mysterious military research organization and being hunted by alien xenophages, the plot was too simple and crude. There was no careful foreshadowing and design. 2. ** Huge gap with audience expectations ** - From the end of Venom 2, many fans were looking forward to the interaction between Spider-Man and Venom in Venom 3. After all, the appearance of Spider-Man at the end of Venom 2 meant that Venom had joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, Spider-Man did not appear in Venom 3 at all, which disappointed the audience who were looking forward to this part. Fans accused the previous Easter egg of being a scam. - The publicity did not match the actual content. Venom 3 was called Venom: The Last Dance, and the promotional poster slogan was " Until Death Separates Us ", giving the audience a feeling of anticipation and farewell. However, after watching the movie, they found that the content of the movie was empty and did not reach the atmosphere created by the publicity. ###2. Visual Effects 1. ** The image looks bad ** - Some parts of the film were too dark, causing the audience to be unable to see the scene clearly. The speed of the battle was too fast. Many times, the battle was over in less than a second. It was difficult for the audience to see the details of the movements. They felt that the special effects were not worth the money spent. Some viewers even felt dizzy when they saw the special effects. ###3. Character Creation 1. ** The protagonist's image has changed ** - Tom, who plays Eddie. Hardy's image in Venom 3 had changed greatly. He had become fat and looked like a completely different person compared to the previous game. For example, his face became round, he had a double chin, no waistline, and a round belly. This affected the audience's experience to a certain extent. 2. ** Character Collapse ** - Venom's character was not stable enough. The first movie was not dark enough, the second movie wanted to remedy the situation but the foundation was not hard enough, and the third movie, except for the scene in the dog fighting arena, had its character collapsed. For example, the ending of the battle with the foreign devourer was so heroic and heroic that it deviated from the anti-hero image setting. ###4. Movie Style 1. ** Style change failed ** - As anti-hero characters under Marvel, Venom and Eddie's story was originally very dark, but after the film adaptation, it became almost a pure comedy. This was quite different from the style in the original manga and was criticized by some viewers. Although the film wanted to adjust the style, the effect was not good. For example, it was not successful enough in dealing with the dark side of Venom and the fusion of comedy elements. Watching " Venom: The Last Dance " wasn't enough.
