Vacuum
Authors Note:
I love cultivation. And I love the classics and tropes. But, I've fallen in love with space. And I found that there's a tragically short supply of space cultivation, with drama and such.
What I hate, however, is power creep. That is not here. Cultivation is not sitting for seven billion years to godhood, nor is it take three pills and fart out a new universe. My take on cultivation is, alignment and knowledge. Strength as a by product, not a goal. Also, as strong as a cultivator might be, they aren't stronger than the sci-fi elements in the novel.
This is not a generic cultivation power trip which cannibalizes the rest of the narrative. It will be a slow at times, fast at others. Morality is in question. Ethics in question. The trappings of a mind abandoned put up against the reality of the wider firmament and its place there.
Yovan doesn't know anything about Cultivation. Only having dreams, the echoes of destruction, to haunt him. Any lesson he can glean vanishingly rare amidst the noise of the end of his race. It will take time, this is an epic, not a sprint!
If that sounds like something you'd be interested in, I welcome you to enjoy.
Ps. I know the dreams are cryptic and hard to follow. This is intentional at the start.
