On the brink of death, he meets someone who would change his life and teach him how to be a ranker. Mana arrived on Earth and rankers were born. As the one person on Earth with an affinity for darkness his life was not going to pleasant, but that was not a problem for Havok. The same affinity that made others despise him and hunt him down, is the same power that he was going to use to slaughter a path to true freedom.
