Barn and the Seven Plagues

Barn and the Seven Plagues

[Warning: Cannibalism; Gore] None of the charas Is a human, do not try to impose human concepts on them. “The heir must rise… or the plagues will consume everything.” Barn Skorpiós still aspires to become the heir of House Skorpiós, but to do so he must surpass even his own sisters — including one who also seeks to restore demon sovereignty and bend the world to her will. Young for his kind, Barn carries a heavy burden: to prove he deserves the throne and earn the trust of those who despise him. Born as a Zombie, the incarnation of the First Plague created by Darkayne, Barn is marked by suspicion. Though many see him as a mere aberration, he was appointed head of the Department of Plague Containment, tasked with studying, monitoring, and controlling the curses unleashed by the second-generation Primordials: Zombies, Corrupted, Skeletons, Infernal, Vampires, Fallen Angels, and White Walkers. The Apocalypse of the Seven Plagues is inevitable — and Barn knows he must gather allies and forces beyond imagination to survive. The world is divided into four great continents: Mahita to the north; Xerathis (the Demon Land) in the south, shared with two non-demonic kingdoms; Ghaltheran in the east, home of the giants; and Veylora in the west, where people worship demigods and demons never set foot. Once feared as rulers across all lands, the demons are now fragmented, scattered across the south, north, and east, weakened by internal conflicts. Yet some, like Barn, still dream of reclaiming lost dominion. It is in this world that Barn discovers Kazumi, a semi-corrupted youth. While such beings exist, Barn has never encountered one with a soul so singular — split between purity and corruption, emitting two distinct sounds. Determined to study this anomaly, he must decide whether Kazumi deserves freedom… or will become another piece in his pursuit of power. Despised by the southern demons for carrying the Grace of Pride, granted by Lucifer, Barn must overcome the scorn of his own kind, the weight of his cursed origins, and the ambition of his sisters. To become the heir of House Skorpiós, he must not only survive but also unify the clans and restore demon sovereignty — reviving the era when demons were feared across all continents.
