[Special Containment Procedures] Calamity neared, and a special Containment Subject known as "Bonfire Company" awoke from its slumber, sending out invitation after invitation to join its ranks— "When The Night comes, there ought to be someone to light a fire, to illuminate in all directions." Where would the very limit of development achievable by a private enterprise be?   Being listed among the top 500 in the country? Being listed among the the top 500 in the world? Or, becoming a boss-level entity that transcends nations, ruling the world as de facto rulers, just like those companies listed below?   The Umbrella Corporation in ‘Resident Evil’, the Weyland-Yutani Corporation in ‘Alien’, the Concordance Extraction Corporation in ‘Dead Space’, Gentek in ‘Prototype’, Vault-Tec in ‘Fallout’, the Shinra Company in ‘Final Fantasy 7’…   Zhang Heng’s goal was to have his company listed among all those giants mentioned above, even eclipsing all of them in terms of size and achievements.   Regular people might not be able to achieve such a goal, but what about a person who possess all of that ‘black tech’ developed by the aforementioned corporate entities?   The company named ‘Stellar Biotech Corporation’ is founded by one such person, a man who goes on a crusade of monopolizing all aspects of development of civilization—medicine, biology, physics, philosophy, you name it—at an unprecedented rate, eventually becoming a goliath that would transcend nations and monopolize every single aspect of human technological development!

Lin Feng's dream was very simple: to become a highly skilled, popular musician. To gain a firm footing in the unpredictable entertainment industry, he activated a system that, among other things, had an auxiliary function dedicated to minimizing all uncontrollable interpersonal risks. His creed consisted of only four words: emotional stability, team perpetuity. Thus, he was rational, calm, and "maintained" every relationship around him like a delicate instrument. To prevent relationships from breaking, he never disappointed anyone; for the sake of team unity, he would respond to expectations no matter how late. Years later, when he stood center stage on the world platform, looking at the former girlfriends, current girlfriends, and rumored girlfriends sitting neatly in the audience, and facing the sharp media accusations of him being the "Century Sea King" and the "Music World Bulldozer," Lin Feng clutched his guitar, his face full of weary innocence: "If I told you that, at the beginning, I honestly just wanted to prevent the band from breaking up, would you believe me?" This is the story of a completely steel straight man who, in order to practice his guitar properly, was forced to navigate the treacherous waters of a love shuraba, and who, in the end, unknowingly charmed his way through the entire entertainment industry. ~~~~ Written deliberately to feel like an authentic Chinese translated webnovel. The female villain has a biased grandmother, a mooching uncle and his family, a blindly filial father, and a spineless mother. She was a small-time thief as a child. As an adult, she committed every kind of evil — constantly framing the female lead — and ultimately met a miserable end. The female lead is the only daughter in another family, doted on by her older brothers. The villain targeted her out of pure jealousy. And now, Deng Yuyuan has become that villain's cowardly mother — and the villain herself is currently just an ugly, wrinkly-faced infant. The blindly filial father loves his wife, but gives all the good things to his own mother. He says to his starving wife and daughter: "Xiao Yuan, come drink some water. I specially heated it for you." Deng Yuyuan looks at her own bony frame and her tiny child — and decides to get a divorce. Goodbye, useless husband. She's going to raise this little cub with an abundance of money and love. No way she'll go astray this time. Lost one husband, gained a crowd of suitors. A beautiful sent-down youth coveted by many — she knows some self-defense and burns the midnight oil studying. Riding the wave of the times, Deng Yuyuan works her way up to become a gaming tycoon and a cutting-edge scientist... Except — why are so many men fighting to be her cub's stepfather?
