In a land called Ravhessia, Richard Marvin, a 16-year-old young man, receives a crucial mission from his grandfather, Henry Marvin. The latter is the Mage of the capital of the Kingdom of Valdrith. He possesses a fragment of the mysterious Circle of Cirkon, a powerful artifact divided into five parts. Before leaving for a remote land called Turing on a secret mission, Henry entrusts Richard with this fragment and tasks him with finding the other descendants of the Legendary Heroes, each bearing a piece of the Circle. Richard will be accompanied by Princess Elizabeth, a runaway princess. Richard and his friends must also prepare to face far darker enemies than expected: the Twelve Riders of Shadows, powerful warriors serving the King of Shadows, Barbatos. The latter, a former fallen king, was long ago sealed away by the Five Legendary Mages, and his release could mean the end of light in the land of Ravhessia.

Acquiring actual skills, interests and ideals... Is a hard task! How can you make sure, that everything you do is not an absolute waste of time, leading to less than nothing? Therefore, the main character of the story, the man affectionally called 'Nista' a name that, essentially, has no meaning, and "No meaning" is not the meaning of it either, obligates himself to nothing, aside from Visual novels! Reveling in his unemployed and severely uneducated life-style, refusing to go outside due to its dangers, the comfort of his life is challenged: unless poor Nista finds an actual job, his parents are going to stop sending him all the needed funds to slack away! So, o great' hero Nista... Can you depart on an adventure so dangerous, to seize the roots of a profession!?

Marvin was the product of a relationship between God and a woman named Mary... Mary was a loving mother and wanted to stay with her son, even though she died immediately after giving birth to Marvin. Her soul was transferred to Marvin so he could live on. This system worked for 7 years, until it became unstable and Mary's body was destroyed. This incident led Marvin to look for his mother, but even after looking everywhere, he still couldn't find her. So, Marvin wished really hard and appeared in a white room with a strange man who appeared to be writing something. Through a series of unfortunate events, Marvin ends up in a new world with his mother taking place of his soul and she is doing her best to lead him through a new world. Marvin's power shall be explored and adventures shall be had. P.s. This is a little bit of fun for me, I love system based novels and novels with game elements. I have a system in place and I will be going a more realistic percentage of distribution of power. For now, around 3/10 people in this world are adventurers of some kind. The reason for this is the decentralized nature of the world and the unpredictability of the monster spawns. Most people need to be at least strong enough to fight a goblin. Ranks 0-9 with only 10 people at Rank 9. 74% are rank 0 with some levels. This world has magic but it is more free form in nature and it can be used in many ways. The true limiter is the linear nature of stats. Normally a person wouldn't drop everything into STR because they get one shot if they are alone so most builds follow patterns of distribution. 2 VIT, 2 STR, 1 DEX, then 1 AGI alternating. It doesn't matter how hard you swing your axe if you get killed by an arrow.... There will be a lot of levels and the MC will follow a more INT based build ;).
