Soft kitty, cartel kitty, Little ball of fur— Sneaks across the border, With a bag of... purr. Happy kitty, sleepy kitty, Counting all that cash, DEA comes knocking, Kitty makes a dash. My cartel cat was prowling by the border wall, Kept watch so long, poor kitty took a fall— Bumped kitty… ohhh Bumped kitty… Just a friendly little cat. My cartel cat was hiding in a secret flat, Waited so long, poor kitty got trapped— Trapped kitty… ohhh Bumped, trapped kitty… Just a friendly little cat. My cartel cat was running from the DEA, Ran so fast, poor kitty lost his way— Lost kitty… ohhh Bumped, trapped, lost kitty… Just a friendly little cat. My cartel cat was counting all the cash, Stacked so high, poor kitty made a dash— Rich kitty… ohhh Bumped, trapped, lost, rich kitty… Just a friendly little cat. My neighbor saw my kitty with a bag of snow, I said to my neighbor, "Let my kitty go!" Free kitty… Bumped, trapped, lost, rich, free kitty… Just a friendly little cat. My cartel cat tried to hide in a sombrero, But sneezed so loud, blew his cover, oh no! Sneezy kitty… ohhh Sneezy, free kitty… Just a friendly little cat. My cartel cat took a nap on a pile of cash, Dreamed of tuna, woke up with a stash— Sleepy kitty… ohhh Sneezy, free, sleepy kitty… Just a friendly little cat. My cartel cat tried to bribe the border guard, Offered a fish, but got caught off guard— Caught kitty… ohhh Sneezy, free, sleepy, caught kitty… Just a friendly little cat. Advice for WN Authors

Advice for WN Authors

Aight bois. This is coming from an author and a reader: most of y'all's writing sucks. Readers shouldn't have to turn their brains off to enjoy your writing... That's just forcing them to be a zombie and mindlessly passing time by, ain't no enjoyment there. So in case you couldn't tell already, this will be very blunt. Thus, here's some things to keep in mind as you read. 1. If you're just going to hear and not listen, skedaddle. Hearing is having it go through one ear and out the other, listening is paying attention and making the effort to understand. 2. Toss your pride away. Yeet it across the ocean. I've seen sooo many authors unable to take constructive criticism and INSIST on improper grammar because they couldn't admit they did something wrong. 3. If you think your writing is good, then it's terrible. Simple. Reason: If you think your writing is good, then you stop looking for ways to improve it and it stagnates. Even the best of the best authors (on wn and traditional books) have room for improvement so don't be like "ah it's good enough" or "there's no where else to improve." 4. Don't listen aggressively. I.e. listening only to find faults in what the person says and use it disprove their claim. One example is waiting for your opponent to make a grammar mistake.  This is different from debate tactics to lead your opponent into logical trap and use their fallacies they accidentally left behind to invalidate everything they said. It's hard to notice, but the main difference is that someone who listens aggressively is no longer open minded or calm. They're usually narrow minded and stubborn to admit they're wrong in those moments and are very easy to manipulate bc they're blinded so ye. Did I leave some traps within the logic presented here? Maybe. Don't be an idiot and you won't have to find out. Side note: apologies if this boi comes off as ranting, bc it is. The average wn quality is on par with mtl childrens books, which is infuriating bc now there's hardly anything good left to read.

What is an 'advice and consent novel'?
An 'advice and consent novel' is probably a fictional work that focuses on the interplay between advice and consent. This could mean that the plot is driven by characters who need to get advice in order to make decisions and then secure the consent of others. It may also look at the consequences when advice is not heeded or when consent is given without proper consideration. For instance, in a historical - based 'advice and consent novel', a character in a court might give bad advice which leads to a situation where consent for a wrong policy is obtained, and the story then unfolds to show the chaos or resolution that follows.

Can you recommend some 'advice and consent novels'?
One book that could be related is 'The Grapes of Wrath'. The characters often seek advice from one another within the family and among the migrants. And there are situations where they need to get the consent of others, like when trying to find work on a new farm. Also, 'Pride and Prejudice' has elements of advice being given among the characters, especially in matters of marriage, and the idea of consent is also there as the characters make decisions about relationships based on advice and their own feelings.

How can we use 'non consent stories' to raise awareness about consent?
In schools, teachers can use non - consent stories during lessons on ethics or social behavior. They can discuss how the characters in the story felt and what could have been done differently. For example, if a story is about a child whose toy was taken without permission, the teacher can ask the students how they would feel in that situation and how to ensure consent in similar cases. This makes the concept of consent more tangible for the students.

What are some 'non consent stories' that can teach us about the importance of consent?
One such story could be in a school setting. A student was pushed into a game without being asked if they wanted to play. They felt uncomfortable and left out. This shows that without consent, even in a seemingly innocent situation, people can be made to feel bad. Consent is about respecting others' boundaries.

The Significance of Consent in Romance Novels
Consent in romance novels is crucial. It shows respect between characters. For example, a simple gesture like asking if it's okay to hold hands or kiss. Without consent, the relationship can seem forced or even inappropriate. It also sets a positive example for readers, teaching them about healthy relationships in real life.

Are there any famous 'consent novels'?
One example could be 'The Handmaid's Tale' by Margaret Atwood. Although not solely about consent, it delves deeply into issues related to the lack of women's agency and consent in a dystopian society.

Advice on translation light novel
One important piece of advice is to be very familiar with the cultural context. Light novels often contain cultural references unique to the Japanese (assuming it's a Japanese light novel). For example, understanding the school system, honorifics, and common social norms can greatly enhance the translation quality. Also, don't translate word - for - word. Idiomatic expressions in the source language might need to be adapted to equivalent idioms in the target language to make the translation flow better.
