El 1 de diciembre de 2022 el jurado del Concurso Nacional de Cuento "Hubert Lanssiers 2022", compuesto por los escritores Miluska Benavides, Leslie Guevara, Alejandro Neyra, Gustavo Rodríguez y Miguel Ruíz Effio, se reunió para elegir a los ganadores y menciones honrosas de dicho concurso. Se recibieron 151 relatos a nivel nacional, y se contó con un comité lector integrado por 80 voluntarios designados por Machucabotons Escuela de Escritura, para la lectura y preelección. Hecha la apertura de los sobres, la relación de ganadores quedó establecida de esta forma: Primer premio "Camel - Pulp" por Ostracista Seudónimo de EDWIN WALTER TOVAR CHUMPITAZ Segundo premio "Los cobardes no van al cielo" por Aaron Champi Seudónimo de EDWIN WALTER TOVAR CHUMPITAZ Se hace notar que es la primera vez en la historia del concurso que un participante recibe en simultáneo el primer y segundo premio. "Aww you are looking all red and stuff" I teased and poked him for added effects.
