Transylvania 1348
In the shadowed forests of Transylvania, Autumn 1348, a deadly plague spreads through villages like fire through dry grass. Most see it as God’s wrath; some whisper of the undead walking among the living.
Exiled physician Ezio di Valerio, known as the Crow Doctor, has fled Italy, bringing with him knowledge of medicine the superstitious fear. Alone, armed with double scythes, a hidden axe, and a blackened crossbow, and cloaked in his bird-like plague gear, he stalks the forest and villages, hunting the delirious, plague-stricken villagers to survive — and to save the few who remain sane.
But survival is not enough. Every shadow hides a threat. Every movement in the fog could mean death. As Ezio fights to protect the living from the dead, he must navigate fear, superstition, and the limits of his own knowledge.
In a world gripped by death, one man must become the hunter of the cursed — or be consumed by them.
