The Distance We Never Got to Measure

The Distance We Never Got to Measure

Gavin Adiwangsa is a cynical elite ghostwriter who doesn’t believe in “inspiration.” For him, writing is a matter of technique and logic, not emotion. He lives comfortably behind the scenes, raking in money by writing scripts under other people’s names, until a mistake from his past leads him to promise his parents that he’ll quit the shadowy world of ghostwriting and take over the family business out of town. However, before his early retirement arrived, Gavin crossed paths with Shena Fadillah. Shena is an idealistic screenwriter on the brink of a career collapse. Her script was rejected because it was deemed “soulless.” In desperation, Shena pursued Gavin, the only person she believed could turn her trashy script into a masterpiece—even if it meant she had to risk her integrity as a writer. Their relationship began with a strict professional contract. Gavin was tasked with dissecting every word Shena wrote, while Shena tried to prove that feelings mattered more than technique. The comedy arose when they had to conduct “field research” for romantic scenes—from a fake date that ended in disaster to a heated debate over how a breakup should be written. The seeds of love began to sprout, but Gavin remained firm in his resolve not to get too involved. Finally, at a book launch party attended by his extended family, Gavin did something unexpected. To protect Shena from the critics’ insults, he openly confessed his feelings in front of everyone. However, Shena—taken aback and feeling her pride as a writer wounded—chose to remain silent and let his declaration hang in the air. A few days later, when Shena finally swallowed her pride and confessed her love in front of their friends, a bitter reality came to light. Gavin had signed an agreement with his parents. To atone for his family’s grave mistakes from the past—a burden he had long shouldered—Gavin had to leave the world of writing behind and move away permanently to take over the family business, a life far removed from his dreams. Gavin left just as their story was getting started, leaving Shena with one big question: Is the distance that now separates them the end, or just a pause before a new chapter begins?

How to measure IQ
The intelligence assessment was divided into screening scale and diagnosis scale: - ** Screen Scale **: - ** The Dennis Development of Intelligence Scale (DDST)**: It tests people's abilities, physical abilities, physical abilities, and language abilities to determine whether there is a possibility of low intelligence. - Age simulation method: By drawing according to the figure and seeing how old the figure can be drawn, it can be screened for the existence of low intelligence. - [** Human Drawing Experiment **: Drawing a person can show the approximate age level of the person's IQ.] - ** diagnosis scale **: - ** Gessel Development Scale **: This is a test of one's ability to respond to people, objects, language, and sports. If one's IQ is less than 75, one will be considered to have low intelligence. - ** Wechsler Intelligence Scale **: It is suitable for children and adults aged 4 - 16 years old. It tests intelligence through calculation, comprehension, filling out forms, drawing, general knowledge, language, and other aspects. If it is less than 69, it indicates mental deficiency. In addition, there were also some specialized institutions (such as the Institute of Psychology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences) that could conduct IQ tests. The tests might include playing games, playing toys, writing questions, answering questions, etc. The test content covered language comprehension, perceptual reasoning, working memory, processing speed, and other aspects. At the same time, it would also test social knowledge. There were also some interesting tests (such as psychological tests such as which of the three dumplings was real, or Mini games to test your IQ, etc.), but these interesting tests were only for entertainment purposes and did not have professional significance. The Genius Club novel is equally exciting. Everyone is welcome to read it!
