Hand in Hand

Hand in Hand

It’s a novel about a bunch of kids who are confused and reckless, who become friends and maybe even more than friends as they navigate through their dreadful lives at home, and with the changing world. They laugh together, almost die together, feel for each other, and hate each other. But they understand each other, and perhaps that’s why the stick around so long. Psyche Rosehill grew up in an abusive home from her successful parents, until they died in a plane crash leaving her all alone, in her broken state. She didn’t care anymore, using foul words and beating anyone who messed with her. She had one person she considered a true friend whom she met on the rooftop, Narcissus Devoin, a mysterious and popular guy at Baymarle Memorial High School. And strangely, while laying in bed in the same day they got a strange accidental phone call from the military, and got called to a mysterious meeting. Little did she know, her life was going to get even more screwed up than before. Kaos Maharaja Break, a prodigal genius at Ministry Academy, who has everything in all aspects. Except love. Maybe that’s why she grew up so messed up, and without sympathy for humans. She doesn’t have a single friend, and people only talk to her when she needs something or because they like how she looks. So when she was writing essays for her annoying teacher, she receives a call from the principal, who gave her a military contact for a secret project they were going to work on. Amused by the idea, she agreed hastily, maybe too hastily. How was she supposed to know it would change her life?

Can you recommend some Mary Russell books related to 'the moor'?
I'm not entirely sure which specific Mary Russell books are directly centered around 'the moor'. However, the series by Laurie R. King often features complex mysteries and detailed settings. Mary Russell is a brilliant and independent character. If there are books related to the moor, they would likely involve her using her wits to solve crimes in that eerie and desolate landscape. It could be that in some of the books, the moor serves as a backdrop for a larger mystery involving characters with hidden motives.

Hengtang Night Moor Translator
Occasionally, the boat would stop in the evening to see the mountains. The plum blossoms in the wild made the water pale, and the fishing fire seemed to be teasing the smoke. The snow on the cold island was melting, and the stars in the spring pool seemed to be bathing. It was unknown who was playing the iron flute, and the crisp sound pierced through the sky. The novel "Listening to the Rain in Green Bamboo and Watching the Egrets" is equally wonderful. Everyone is welcome to click and read it!
