Island Drift: The Luck-Blessed overlord

Island Drift: The Luck-Blessed overlord

One night changed everything. Without warning, billions of people across the globe were transported to mysterious, fog-shrouded islands. Civilization collapsed in an instant. These islands are infested with terrifying zombies, hidden survival resources, and deadly unknowns. In this new world, the only way to survive is to drift—explore, scavenge, kill, and build. While others struggle just to find clean water or wield a wooden stick for self-defense, Meng Hao, an ordinary young man, awakens a game-breaking ability: the Divine Fortune System. His starter pack? Most get a stick and a tiny storage ring. Meng Hao, with the system’s 100x reward multiplier, gets to choose: Option 1: 100 wooden sticks and 100 storage rings (1 cubic meter each)? Or Option 2: A fully-equipped Kar98k sniper rifle and a 100-cubic-meter storage ring? Without hesitation, he chooses power—and becomes unstoppable. From that moment on, Meng Hao sweeps through the islands like a storm. His loot chests always drop elite gear. His zombie kills yield top-tier upgrades. He constructs a mobile fortress base bristling with weapons and high-tech systems, crushing everything in his path. He absorbs and merges island cores, turning once-hostile territories into strongholds under his command. While others are still trembling in fear at the sight of a single zombie, Meng Hao is headshotting hordes deep in mid-tier infection zones. While others fight over scraps, he shares surplus resources with family and friends, protecting them within his expanding domain. While survivors fight for survival, he builds an empire. This isn’t just a game of survival—it’s a war to rewrite destiny. Will you cower and cling to life, or rise to dominate? In this world shrouded in mist and danger, only those blessed by fortune can rise above the chaos and create a new order. One man. One system. One world. Meng Hao’s reign has only just begun.

Drift of the Ten-Thousand-Ton Destroyer

Drift of the Ten-Thousand-Ton Destroyer

Book Introduction: Ten-Thousand-Ton Destroyer’s Drift Alternate World War II Hardcore Military / Transoceanic Conspiracy / Axis Intrigue / No Water Filler / Long-term Layout & Global Chess Game This is an upgraded, highly rigorous alternate history World War II naval epic. No mindless combat spam, no meaningless equipment stacking, no casual plot loopholes. Every dialogue, every military transaction, every diplomatic gamble advances the overall situation — every chapter serves the grand long-term layout. In the distorted tide of the 1943 Pacific War and European battlefield chaos, a lone advanced ten-thousand-ton destroyer breaks into the rigid established history. Facing the dark internal strife of the Axis camp: Germany secretly manufactures 51cm super-heavy naval artillery for Japan, exchanging core biochemical experimental data, oxygen torpedo technology, and full aircraft carrier blueprints. The seemingly huge military cooperation is nothing but Germany’s one-sided plunder and discard strategy — utilizing the Japanese Navy’s core technology before abandoning its ally without hesitation for greater strategic cooperation. While the false state funeral deceives the entire United States military and paralyzes Pacific reconnaissance, the super battleship refit project advances in secret. Behind every grand naval battle and frontline confrontation lies cold political transactions, treacherous cross-ocean conspiracies, and cruel war interest trade-offs. Accompanied by the shipboard emotional artificial intelligence Fighting Cat, the crew witnesses the complete darkness of authoritarian regimes: utilitarian alliances, disposable allies, buried war crimes, and hidden military research that rewrite the rules of World War II naval supremacy. 【Strict No-water Writing】 Every plot line interlocks precisely. Tactical deduction, industrial chain logic, diplomatic game rules, and battlefield layouts maintain rigorous military history rationality throughout. —————————— Official Update Explanation (Safe & Compliant) This platform only retains chapter display archives. So he searches for his girlfriend’s soul and his doings plunge the world into chaos without even him knowing. ******************************* Author's note: Hello guys if you are pondering about whether to read this one or not. Here are some points which will help you make that decision: 1) The Main Character is overpowered but not in the sense of world he lives in or what he wants. It can be said he is unique and he has no use for his power most of the time.  2) The story is more about his goal and how much he struggles achieving it. (A better analogy would be daenerys targaryen, but Kaye is not trying to achieve any kingdom throne) 3) The story doesn't include any harem element.  4) it is more about the mysteries, shocks and tragedies he has to face. 5) The story emphasize on vast world building but slow progression, details will be revealed one or two at a time.   Here are some famous title which inspired me to write this:- Game of thrones, iron man, that time i got reincarnated as a slime( most of the rpg isekai) and other few.  (Oh boy i really wrote those titles up there as inspiration source, what if my story won't be able to touch those titles' awesomeness a single bit. it would be really embarrassing for me but I gotta take chances.) Lastly "It is far better to have negative comments than having none, so please pour your heart out"

Can you give some examples of 'the drift fiction'?
There might be some works by Haruki Murakami that could be considered in the realm of 'the drift fiction'. His stories often have a dreamy quality where the characters seem to be adrift in a world that is both familiar and strange. For instance, in 'Kafka on the Shore', the young Kafka drifts from his home and embarks on a journey filled with surreal encounters and events that don't always have a clear logical connection. This gives a sense of drifting through a world of mystery and the unknown.
