Energy-Substrate Scaling is a unified theory of complexity. The law states that complex systems rise by discovering energy accounts, flourish by spending them, and fall when the balance diminishes, with the height of their flourish determined by the size of the accessible account. This is not merely a theory of resource use. It is a theory of metabolic fate. It posits that the story of any complex structure, from a bacterium to a civilization to a star, is prefigured in the relationship between its hunger for order and the fund of useful energy it can consume.

She therefore runs away on her own and begins a journey in search of power to resist that thing and to try to bring her grandparents back.

English writing tutor Steve Smith only has two more semesters to graduate from Vermillion College in California. Then he hopes to get a top-paying job writing copy for a tech firm. Until he reaches his self-fulfilled dreams, however, he’s working his way through school without borrowing from his successful Chinese-American parents.<br><br>Vermillion football star Jason Woodard, on the other hand, grew up in a state-run home and is struggling to make his athletic scholarship and all that goes with it mesh with his academic requirements. He too is about to finish but, having put off first year English composition, has to rely on the writing lab where Steve works for help with an essay about love. Since Jase says he’s never encountered love, he can’t figure out how to write his essay.<br><br>As they talk about love, they discover two things: falling in love is easier than talking about it and nobody in the school’s athletic program wants two guys to fall in love.<br><br>When the abuse of athletes across the country comes to light, Steve realizes Jase too has been abused and needs more help than a tutor can give.

Some of the characters here are extremely powerful like the Lofty Demigod, while some are really weak like our first introduced character, Hidden Gnome. However, as I ramp up the chapters, their abilities and match up with each other will link and it will bring about a one plus one equals more than two result! Our Starless, is the focal point of the story, more like the reason that the plot must go forward. I might want to make an arc where the Starless is the main character, but that will be a time for the future. And as always, happy reading! Since the book is still my first draft, I might not be publishing new schedules on the right time (my ideal publishing schedule is 12 PM Hongkong/Manila Time). However, I'm in the most crucial stage in my college life right now and I might be busy (sorry T_T).
