Mutant Survival Guide To The Commonwealth [Complete]

Mutant Survival Guide To The Commonwealth [Complete]

This story is about a man trying to find his way in a foreign but familiar world. I plan this novel to be about his journey through the Commonwealth as he tries to make the world a better place. He would be classified as a decent person, but one who doesn't hesitate to protect his life and those he cares about. Now onto the story. Rio will find himself in the Commonwealth of Fallout 4 with a system that works like a combination of the previous titles' game mechanics. It has Skills, Traits, Perks, VATS, and everything else a survivor could need to survive the wasteland. Rio must try and find his way in a world that to him was nothing more than a videogame before he died. He will meet friends and foes alike during his journey. But the biggest issue he has to deal with isn't how to shoot a gun but how to fit into a world where he isn't a human and everyone sees him as a horrifying mutant. How will he manage to convince everyone he isn't like the big green brute or the decaying ferals? I guess you will have to read and find out. (Edit: Someone mentioned that the title was misleading so I will clarify that the main character is not a Super Mutant but he is seen as a mutant by the people. ) ------------------- Now, for the details on what you can expect from me. I will make the chapters around 1500-2000 words, and I anticipate releasing them Monday-Friday. Except for the occasional holiday, in which I may release two chapters. It may take a while before I start uploading to this story, as I want to create a few chapters first. My other story that hasn't been completed will likely go on Hiatus as I have lost some of the motivation to write that story. If you notice any errors or mistakes in any of my content, then let me know, and I will usually fix it, and if I don't, then I will at least let you know why. I read almost all the comments, so let me know what you think. Lastly, I use Grammarly, but both it and I can make grammar mistakes, so let me know if you find any. Until next time, Ciao.

A Beginners Guide to Fanfic: What is it and How to Start?
Fanfic, short for fan fiction, is a form of writing where fans create stories based on existing works like books, movies, or TV shows. To start writing fanfic, first, choose the fandom you're passionate about. It could be a popular series like 'Harry Potter' or 'Star Wars'. Then, think about the characters and what new adventures or relationships you can create for them. Read a lot of existing fanfic in that fandom to get a sense of the common tropes and styles.

To really unlock Harry Potter fanfic, it's important to understand the different genres within it. There are adventure - based fanfics that might take the characters on new quests outside of the original books. Then there are romance - centered ones, which could pair different characters in unexpected relationships. Another aspect is the time - period fanfics can be set in. Some might be set during the original series timeline, while others could be in an alternate universe in the future or past of the wizarding world.

Beginners Guide to Fanfic: Tips for Writing Engaging Stories
One tip for writing engaging fanfic stories is to have a strong hook at the start. For example, if it's a 'Supernatural' fanfic, start with a mysterious event that draws the reader in, like an unexplained death that seems to be related to the supernatural. Another important thing is to stay true to the original characters' personalities. Dean Winchester is known for his love of classic rock and his tough - guy exterior, so keep that in mind while writing him.
