Otherworld Retail Department
Overweight. Broke. Alone.
Lex wasn’t exactly winning at life.
Stuck in a university course he hated and barely scraping by, the death of his grandfather left him with no family and even less idea of what to do next.
Then came the letter.
His grandfather’s final inheritance: an abandoned corner shop, a set of keys, and the promise of a life far more interesting than the one Lex was currently wasting.
The shop was falling apart. The shelves were empty. A homeless man had moved into the warehouse.
Oh—and the front door opened into another world.
A world of monsters, merchants, old grudges and dangerous kingdoms, where even the most ordinary goods from Earth could carry consequences far beyond their price tag.
Not that Lex knows any of that.
As far as he’s concerned, he has a shop to rebuild, shelves to stock, customers to find, and money to make.
He has no experience, no grand ambitions, and absolutely no idea what he’s doing.
But every business has to start somewhere.
Welcome to the Otherworld Retail Department.

Working Upload Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
Note that I do work an awful lot in real life. If I could manage daily uploads I would, but giving myself space and time helps me develop as an author and write better chapters. Plus they're usually between 2000 and 3000 words each.
