Prison Break : The Mentalist
Daniel Miller, a reincarnated stage magician, wakes up in the body of a low-level con artist inside the infamous Fox River Penitentiary. The catch? He knows everything about the prison's most elaborate escape plan from the future, and the clock is ticking down to Lincoln Burrows' execution. As Michael Scofield plans his breakout, Daniel must prove he's an asset—not a threat—by leveraging his enhanced skills.
Daniel has three distinct advantages:
Sleight of Hand & Dexterity: The original Daniel was a thief, and those muscle memories are now fused with the magician's training, giving him exceptional manual dexterity. This allows him to effortlessly pick pockets, palm cards, and manipulate objects with blinding speed and precision.
Cold Reading & Deduction: His mind is sharper than before, giving him the unique ability to observe and deduce, or "read people like books". He can instantly spot tells for lies, physical injuries, and even deeply personal secrets just by observing body language and microexpressions.
Low Presence Zone (LPZ): His most mysterious and taxing power, this is a "field of inattention" that allows him to manipulate the perception of others. When activated, the air around him shifts, making him virtually unnoticeable, enabling him to slip past security and cameras, a power that comes at a brutal physical cost with heavy use.
To survive the violent hierarchy and earn a spot on the escape team, Daniel will have to use his impossible magic and mental acuity to become indispensable to Michael. He must play the game better than anyone, or risk watching Michael's brilliant plan—and Lincoln's life—fail.
