can the heros journey be used in a short story

Sure it can! The Hero's Journey framework can be adapted for a short story to create a compelling and meaningful narrative.

Of course. The Hero's Journey consists of elements like the ordinary world, call to adventure, refusal of the call, meeting the mentor, crossing the threshold, tests, allies, enemies, the approach, the ordeal, the reward, the road back, the resurrection, and the return with the elixir. In a short story, not all of these elements need to be fully developed. You can focus on a few key ones, like the call to adventure and the ordeal. For instance, a short story could be about a young artist who gets an unexpected invitation to display their work in a big gallery (call to adventure). They face self - doubt and criticism from other artists (ordeal) and in the end, either succeed or learn something valuable. So, it can be effectively used in short stories.

One popular heros journey novel is 'The Lord of the Rings' by J.R.R. Tolkien. It follows Frodo's journey as he undertakes the dangerous task of destroying the One Ring. Another is 'The Odyssey' by Homer, which tells the story of Odysseus' long and arduous journey home. 'Harry Potter' series by J.K. Rowling also fits this pattern, as Harry grows from an ordinary boy to a powerful wizard while facing numerous challenges.

Hero's journey novels have a significant influence on modern literature. They provide a framework for character development. Many modern novels use the concept of a hero facing challenges, growing, and achieving a goal. For example, in dystopian novels, the hero often starts as an ordinary person in a repressive society and then rises up against the system, much like in the classic hero's journey.

Once upon a time, I went on a journey to a small village in the mountains. I set off early in the morning with just a backpack. As I walked along the winding path, I met an old man. He told me stories about the village's history. When I finally reached the village, I was welcomed by friendly locals. I stayed there for a few days, exploring the beautiful landscapes and learning their unique traditions. It was a journey full of discovery.

Journey to the West was based on Journey to the West. The story began sixteen years after the four of them obtained the strange scripture and handed it to the Heavenly Court. The world did not change for the better. After the mysterious scripture went missing, the Heavenly Court sent an army to search for it. After the battle of the Sky Feather Mountain, the wolf demon White Wolf had gone through great difficulty to find Tang Sanzang and his disciples, who had gone to obtain the scriptures, and reassembled the team to embark on the road of returning the scriptures. On the way back, they encountered all kinds of demons and ghosts, each with their own characteristics. At the same time, they discovered that the Eight Great Divine Families also had their own selfish schemes. There were still many unknown forces in the world manipulating everything, but they still relied on their wisdom, courage, and unity to overcome the many difficulties and continue to explore this complicated world, seeking true peace and justice between humans and the gods.

I haven't read the 'heros and halfwits full story' myself. However, generally speaking, in a story about heroes and half - wits, the heroes might be those with noble qualities like courage, kindness and wisdom. They could be on a quest to save the day. The half - wits, on the other hand, might be characters who seem a bit silly or not as intelligent, and they could provide some comical relief or even create obstacles for the heroes in the story.

I'm not sure which specific 'Harem Heros' you are referring to. There could be various works with this name in different media such as books, games or anime. It would be great if you could provide more context, like is it a novel? If it's a game, what kind of game is it? Without more details, it's difficult to tell the full story.

Well, in 'The Heros Janitor' manga, the main character is an ordinary janitor who unexpectedly gains superpowers. This leads him to face various challenges and enemies as he tries to use his newfound abilities for good. The story is full of action, surprises, and character growth.
