Cajun Reincarnation
*Cajun Reincarnation*
Remy LeBlanc used to measure life in seasoned cast-iron pots, cypress swamp tides, and the quiet magic of the Louisiana bayou. But after an unexpected end, the seasoned swamp survivalist finds himself ripped from the marsh and reborn into the high-fantasy realm of Aethelgard.
He wakes up in a body that looks less like a traditional hero and more like a mythic wanderer. Standing lean, dangerously fit, and built like solid oak from years of hard living, Remy sports stark white hair, a slashed right cheek, and a web of brutal scars across his neck. His right eye shines a vivid greenish-blue, while his left eye—a eerie, piercing silver—houses a double pupil that sees straight through the magical weave of the world. Draped in a simple white robe and baggy trousers bound by a rough rope belt, his plain attire hides the physical powerhouse beneath.
Personality-wise, Remy is a walking contradiction. Most of the time, he’s a jovial, laid-back wanderer who cracks jokes in a thick accent, cooks mouth-watering monster-tail stews, and treats terrifying beasts like oversized crawfish. But the second his companions are threatened or a monster pushes him too far, the goofy camp cook vanishes. In his place stands a cold, sharp-eyed predator who knows precisely how to tear a threat apart.
While Aethelgard relies on rigid spellbooks and aristocratic magic, Remy brings the old ways: folk hexes, monster alchemy, and swamp-honed instincts. With an uncanny eye, a heavy pot, and a smile that hides a lethal edge, Remy sets out to leave his mark on a new world—proving that no matter where you throw him, a Cajun always thrives.
