MHA: Spider-Deku
Heroism is a lie Izuku Midoriya used to believe. His faith was personally shattered by All Might, leaving a cynical survivor in place of the hopeful fanboy. By night, he haunts the city's alleys as a masked menace, delivering the gutter-level justice the pros won't touch.
A class trip to Oscorp Tower ends in an industrial accident—a single, unseen bite from a genetically engineered spider. A brutal fever burns away the boy he was, leaving him with powers that feel more like a curse: superhuman strength that shatters furniture by accident, senses so sharp they're a constant agony, and the unnerving ability to stick to walls.
It's an unnatural secret born from a lab, not a heroic destiny.
Izuku must now learn to control a body that betrays him with every touch, all while hiding his transformation from a worried mother and his explosive rival, Katsuki Bakugo, who senses a lie. The Quirkless reject finally has the tools of a top-tier hero, but the boy who prayed for them is long gone.
The question is no longer if a Quirkless boy can be a hero, but what kind of man will he become with a power he was never meant to have?
