CHAPTER ONE: THE DREAMER
Joseph loved to dream.
In his dreams he could be anything he wanted to be.
Sometimes he dreamt about flying through the skies.
Racing with the birds and sometimes... bees?
Feeling the wind in his hair, while he soared through the sky was the most wonderful feeling in the world.
Sometimes he finds himself running through the winding woods with wolves, howling and hunting with heavenly skill.
In these moments he wasn't an outsider, he had a pack. One that would always watch his back through anything nature threw at him.
Sometimes he'll be a dolphin, rescuing people from shipwrecks and sharks.
Or he could just whale it out for the fun of it.
Joseph loved to dream.
In his dreams he could be anywhere he wanted to be.
He could be in France, on top of the tower of iron and love, dining on the finest cuisines he'll never pay for.
He could be in Antarctica, wearing only a singlet while others are shivering, Wondering what sort of man he is.
Or he could be on the moon, looking down on Earth... before or after pranking astronauts of course.
Joseph loved to dream.
In his dreams he could be anyone he wanted to be.
He could wear a cape, saving lives across the globe and punching meteors out of the sky.
He could walk home from school and have the heartiest of meals with his parents and many siblings.
He could be lov...
Joseph woke from his dreams.
His wheel chair was being pushed by one of the caretakers in the orphanage.
To where, he didn't know or care.
He never liked the waking world.
There was too much abuse and hate to a malformed like him.
Here he was broken Joseph.
Unloved.
Unwanted.
Unaccepted.
So he did the only thing he thought he was capable of doing.
He went back to the dreaming.
And while he dreamt, a gentle devil smiled sweetly by his side.
Knowing he'll be a dreamer forever.
