The Jade Emperor had no choice but to ask for help from the Buddha. He failed in his battle with the Buddha and was suppressed under the Five Elements Mountain for 500 years. 7. Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty established the Dharma Assembly of Water and Land, which was presided over by Tang Sanzang. Guanyin Bodhisattva rescued Sun Wukong.
