My Intergalactic Expanse System

My Intergalactic Expanse System

In a universe where not only humans but multiple races exist across thousands of planets, power is everything. Magic, martial arts, advanced technology, and strange ancient forces dictate who rules the stars and who bows in the dirt. On the prestigious, mage-ruled planet of Valerius, power was a birthright. But for a boy named Vane, that right was violently ripped away. Once the proud son of two elite, high-ranking freelancers, Vane's life was shattered when his parents were betrayed by the very organization they served. The ruthless Solus Dominion seized his family’s entire legacy, stripped him of his future, and banished him to the darkest corner of the cosmos. Now, Vane is reduced to a frail mine worker, trapped in the crushing, suffocating depths of the Tartarus-9 asteroid. Day after agonizing day, he swings heavy machinery to mine Aether crystals—the ultimate energy and the very currency of the strongest beings in the universe—knowing he is meant to die quietly at the bottom of the food chain. Until one day, in the deepest pit of the asteroid, his tool strikes something strange. A small, pitch-black orb. The moment he touches it, the orb dissolves into his skin. Ding! Deepest Desire System online. Host, please tell me your deepest desire. Armed with a mysterious system that bends the laws of progression to fuel his ambition, watch as Vane brutally turns his miserable fate around. From a discarded slave to a cosmic powerhouse, Vane begins a blood-soaked climb to the apex. He will shatter the biological limits of humanity, ruthlessly face-slap the arrogant elites who look down on him, and crush the organization that betrayed his family under his boot. But as the Solus Dominion burns, Vane realizes the betrayal goes much deeper than a single organization. The universe is hiding a terrifying secret within the Aether itself, and the true, god-like rulers of the cosmos have just noticed the anomaly rising from the mines... When the heavens themselves decide to erase him, will Vane be crushed by the weight of the universe, or will he become the monster that devours it?

Follow Grant on his journey as he fights and kills his way to the peak. Will he be able to enact the vengeance that he seeks or will he fall short on his journey? Tags: Overpower MC, Harem (Not traditional: explained below), Kingdom building, Game elements, Fantasy, War, Betrayal, Face Slapping (Others not Grants), Redemption, Game Elements, System. ---------- A/N (Sorry It's a lot of information but I want to get it out of the way): This is more of an anti-hero story than anything. Grant's personality is chaotic and undefined for the most part. After years of suffering he has become selfish and egocentric so he will focus only on the things he cares about and what it takes to protect them. #1 question I always get asked when I write stories is: will this be harem, solo love interest, or no love at all? Answer: Most likely harem. But not a traditional harem because Grant has become so emotionally distant that it is difficult for people to truly break through to his 'heart'. Maybe late into the story one or a few will succeed, but you'll have to read to find out. I also plan on adding R18 chapters when they feel appropriate. They will not in any way dominate the story so don't expect them to be every other chapter. Probably spaced out over 10-20+ chapters depending on where we are in the story. I welcome criticism, comments, questions, concerns, etc. I am doing this because I enjoy writing and I want to provide the best story possible to my readers so do not hesitate to comment. I will answer all of your questions and comments as quickly as I can. I'm aiming for two chapters a day but I have a full time job and a family to take care of so some days it may only be one. I will set goals for power stones and, if ultimately contracted, I will also add goals for gifts / golden tickets, which will of course result in more chapters. (Contract is probably a long way off, if at all, since this is a new account and their is no precedence for it set with this account. I will never personally request a contract and will only consider it if it's offered directly too me so it's even less likely. So enjoy the free reading and I hope you like the story!) (Don't ask about my other stories, I don't like to promote between them because I want my stories to stand on their own two feet.)
