Fifteen and Finding Myself
Synopsis
Fifteen-year-old Auden has always felt different, but he’s never had the words for it. Growing up in a neighbourhood where secrets are easier to keep than to explain, he learns to survive by staying invisible. But everything changes the day he meets Brendan — a confident, charismatic young man who is older, but more importantly, unafraid to live his truth.
When Brendan returns to town, Auden begins to experience feelings he never expected: admiration, curiosity, and the terrifying possibility of love. Brendan becomes the first person to truly see him — beyond the walls he hides behind, beyond the fear that has shaped his life.
As their friendship deepens, Auden is forced to confront the truth about who he is and what he wants. But growing up means facing realities he isn’t ready for, from judgement at school to the storm brewing inside his own heart. Through hope, heartbreak, and self-discovery, Auden learns that becoming himself might be the bravest thing he ever does.
This is a story about identity, first love, and the courage it takes to step into the world as your true self — even when your voice shakes.
