The Sound of Despair

The Sound of Despair

Transmigration. What if the cause is not a bus running you over, nor you falling into a pond, but you get five years to prepare, fully aware of what you’re getting into? Well, at least you think you know what you’re getting into... This is the situation Mike, a professional MMA fighter, finds himself in. Given the opportunity to leave behind his life on Earth and enter a world of swords and magic, he prepares to face the challenge. In a world of discrimination, injustice, and social class inequality, Mike demonstrates how far Earth has come in developing its martial arts and how much a simple low-kick can hurt. You’re stronger? Well, first, you will have to land a hit. You’re faster? Does it really matter if your movement is so wasteful? You know incredible techniques? Are they better than the legendary one-two combo, perfected by legends through thousands of years? You have more money? That indeed seems to be a problem. You have companions? It’s not like I’m lonely... I don’t need anyone… You know magic? Ok, now it’s just getting unfair. Mike will have to learn to adapt, improve and find his path in a world that is ruthless beyond compare. --------------------------------------------------------- The first five chapters can be a little slow and serve more as a prologue. If you find yourself bored or generally dislike "training arcs," just skip to the sixth chapter when Mike's life in the new world officially begins. In general, there will be a lot of training, as I love training sequences like in the 36th Chamber of the Shaolin. There will also be close to no romance, and while this is not a pet taming novel, there will be companions. I just enjoy writing as a hobby and hope I can share that with you. =) Link to full cover: https://imgur.com/a/YrzVqNg

As the unloved middle child, her younger sister is the one meant to go — but her mother transfers her job to the sister instead. A disaster of a start. To avoid being sent away, she has to marry within seven days. She meets a few ordinary men and decides she'd rather go to the countryside. Then she runs into a neighbor who's also looking for a spouse — and his conditions are surprisingly good. A dowry of three hundred? Bicycles and a radio? Just take care of the kids, and separate rooms are fine? The others may pass, but she won't. Every day is a battle of wits with the two kids. Life is eventful, she gets a salary every month, and the boss is never home. Absolutely perfect. Except... wasn't this big shot supposed to be infertile? Then why does he keep strutting around naked in front of her? She has professional ethics. She won't be seduced by a good body. Hmph. Men only slow down her sword swing. Lu Feng grits his teeth at Fu Xiaoxiao, who remains completely unmoved by his countless attempts to seduce her, and traps her in his arms. "Boss, let's talk this through. I know forty a month is a bit much — how about... five less?" Trapped in his embrace, Fu Xiaoxiao thinks he's unhappy with her high salary and starts bargaining. "I'm giving myself to you for free." Lu Feng grinds out through clenched teeth. This woman has no heart. "...Can I say no?" Fu Xiaoxiao swallows, staring at the washboard abs so close. "Such a good deal — are you sure you don't want it?" Lu Feng squints, tempting her. "Fine." A fool turns down a bargain.

Stories about English Pronunciation of 'th' Sound
Well, the 'th' sound in English pronunciation is quite interesting. When we look at stories, we can notice how this sound affects the rhythm and flow of the language. Take a story with a lot of 'th' words like 'thought', 'theatre', 'thief'. If pronounced wrongly, it can completely change the meaning. English pronunciation
The phoneme was a symbol used to record the smallest unit of speech. The English pronunciation system was a symbol used to record English phoneme. It was introduced to accurately identify English pronunciation because there were more than 40 pronunciations in English, but only 26 letters. The International Symbols for English were divided into two types: the British Symbols (DJ Symbols) and the American Symbols (K. K Symbols). The International Photonetic Alphabet was a set of internationally accepted pronunciation symbols developed by the International Photonological Association in 1888. The purpose was to use a symbol to represent a sound, so as to avoid the inconvenience caused by everyone using their own set of symbols. It could be used to mark the pronunciation of various international languages. Many languages would modify it to mark the languages they studied, so there were many kinds of international alphabets. In some countries and regions, the international alphabets were used in English teaching, such as the mainland of China, China Taiwan, and Russia. The British pronunciation was usually referred to as the British pronunciation pronunciation, which was developed by the British phonologist Daniel Jones. The International Transcription for the British pronunciation was represented by his initial, DJ. The English phonologist Daniel Jones compiled the English Orthophony dictionary based on the IPs. The dictionary represented the pronunciation known as Received Pronunciation (PR), which was commonly used by educated British people, especially southern English. Currently, the BBC has a total of 44 symbols, including 24 syllables and 20 syllables. The American pronunciation, or K.K. pronunciation, was created by two American philologists, John S. Kenyon and Thomas A. It was a pronunciation used in the American English Pronunciation dictionary. One of the main uses of the K.K. Transcription was to teach non-native English speakers how to pronounce American English. It was widely used in Taiwan and was gradually being promoted in the mainland of China. There are 18 American vocals.(Monophthong: /i/ /́/ /e/́/́/a/ /́/ /́/ /o/Ü/ /u/; Diphthong: /a ́/a/ /́/), there are 20 British vocals.(Monophthong: /i:/ /ṣ i/ /e/ṣ i//:/ /u://ṣ:/; Diphthong: /a ṣ i/ /e ṣ i/ /a//ṣ i//ṣ i ṣ i//ṣ i ṣ i//ṣ i/ /e ṣ i//ṣ i//), and the American pronunciation abandoned the British pronunciation of the long syllable symbol/:/, which was the biggest difference between the two. "Choose" was equally exciting. Everyone was welcome to read it!
