A Cage of Diamonds
A Cage of Diamond
A Cage of Diamond follows Amara, a young woman whose life is shattered when she unknowingly awakens a buried force tied to ancient seals known as the Seven Locks. What begins as a mysterious pull within her quickly escalates into a reality-breaking conflict involving forgotten kingdoms, imprisoned cosmic entities, and a prison that is not just a structure—but a living system holding back something far older than history itself.
Amara discovers she is not an ordinary girl, but the central “Key” and potential “Warden” of the Seventh Lock, the final seal holding together a collapsing multidimensional prison. As she is pulled deeper into this hidden world, she is guided—and sometimes manipulated—by Kael, a secretive man who has long been entangled with the seals, and Elias, a reluctant protector whose role is tied to an ancient order.
They are soon confronted by the truth that the prison contains not one being, but three:
The Hollow King, a powerful entity once thought to be the ultimate threat
The prison itself, revealed to be semi-sentient and bound
And a forgotten third prisoner, whose existence was erased from history
As the seals begin breaking across the world, reality fractures in multiple locations, and an ancient fortress known as the First Ruin awakens. Within it lies the Seventh Lock and the First Root, a living structure tied to Amara’s forgotten past.
Amara begins to experience fragmented visions revealing that she once lived in a lost silver civilization connected to Orion, a mysterious figure who is eventually revealed to be one of the most dangerous and important beings tied to the prison’s origin. Her forgotten identity suggests she was not only part of that ancient world—but possibly someone central to its collapse.
Meanwhile, a catastrophic force known as the Empty One begins awakening. It is revealed to be an existence capable of erasing reality itself, not by destruction, but by removing things from existence entirely. It is the true hidden force behind the prison’s creation and the reason the Seven Locks were built.
As the Seventh Lock awakens, Amara is forced into a final, impossible decision:
to bind the prison again—or release what it contains.
But with the arrival of armies, cosmic Executioners, collapsing seals, and the awakening of the Empty One, it becomes clear that the choice may not only decide the fate of the imprisoned beings—but the existence of reality itself.
At its core, A Cage of Diamond is a story about forgotten identity, ancient guilt, and the terrifying burden of being the one person who can either preserve or undo the structure holding existence together.
