The narrator was never meant to speak to him. In a world where stories are shaped by unseen voices and chosen vessels, everything collapses when the protagonist dies too early. Kaelren—a quiet loner haunted by a scarred past—suddenly begins hearing things no one else can: system messages, glitching narration, and the whisper of a world trying to rewrite itself. It begins with a fragment of a broken blade. Then, a voice. And then... the rules fall apart. Kaelren is not a hero. He was never supposed to carry the weight of prophecy or wield the power of a forgotten race. A few hundred years ago, the system, something created by a few higher beings for their entertainment, reached Earth. It allowed for all intelligent species to view their stats, ‘level up’, allocate their stat points, gain skills and, if they were lucky, use ‘special talents’, gifted to them by these higher beings. Now, let’s fast-forward to now. Our main character, a child named Jason was born, and he happened to have been born with 2 special talents: One was quite helpful, and very practical. It didn’t seem to have any negatives, and it seemed to have done something helpful. The other, not so much.. His other one was [Jack of All Genres]. What it did was that at a random time, the system forced him to spin a wheel for a genre, and that genre would be how the world would seem for a while. Then, it would go back to normal. After that, the wheel would return. It didn’t just magically change the entire world, no, it just changed their perception of things. There was one thing, however. The wheel seemed to be filled with mostly bad options.. And the twisted god who gave him the skill seemed to coerce him towards the path of evil, with more ‘gifts’…

Bai Su smiles and peeks her head out, holding a gleaming kitchen knife: "Time to eat! What are you all doing?" The big shots and the little villains, harmoniously putting their arms around each other's shoulders in a picture of fatherly love and filial piety: "Coming~~"
